I am glad you received the pictures. I agree that one is better then the other. I think it would be a good idea to post it before we cruise. I only hope that I loose so much weight by then that people would no recognize me :lmao:
The cruising to the med sounds amazing but I know that we will not be on board.Ithink it is fun to see how excited people are about it. I wish that disney would build another ship so when they do special sailing the magic would still be availible .
Have a great day everyone :sunny:

I hope no one would recognize either of us! But that ain't gonna happen for me if I don't get my act together, that's for dang sure. Which reminds me, I'm off to post on our weight loss thread....I'm thinking I need to start being accountable for my behaviour. ::yes::

Have a good Wednesday everyone!

You know, you're probably right about that! And I'm sure there are people who will do a 3/4 day back-go-back on the Wonder just because they want to be on the ship and don't care about the ports. But you still wouldn't get some of the 'events' that you get on a 7 day...although there would be two CC stops and two pirate night parties. ::yes::

Yeah, I was thinking of booking a back to back 3/4 next summer as well. I think Dh would be :crazy2: because Nassau is not great to begin with and to have it twice would be...not enticing. I should just wait and book an Eastern for the next Fall. It would just be nice to not have to worry about missing school.

GrayFal, good luck getting on the Repo.

Hoping to get on the Back to the Kingdom Repo...... :stir:
Will know in a few weeks..... :sad2:
Actually I don't think it would be that hard. I remember 60 days out from the west coast to east coast repo, there was all kinds of cats opening up frompeople cancelling. We were going to book a Cat 6, but since DW was working at UPS, she couldn't swing the time off that quick. But waiting till 60 days out, would be a chance you would have to take.

Oh,That sounds fun! I think I need to finish paying for this cruise before I start paying for another one though. Sad, but true. I'm hoping by the time we cruise it won't be too expensive to book for the next Fall.

Hi everyone! Monica and I are back from Hawaii. We had a great time and spent one whole day at the Dole Pineapple Plantation. We love the Dole Whip they have at the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland and we had the same Dole Whip in Hawaii.

While on the trip, we tried the Atlantis submarines. We will have to do the same thing in the Caribbean as it was a great deal of fun.

Hope everyone is well and we look forward to planning our Dis-meet!

Welcome back Disneynut1955, sounds like you had a great trip! Don't know if you're from the Phoenix area of AZ, but you missed some chilly weather and much needed rain. We've got the :sunny: back now though and a good thing as I have company coming from Chicago next week and many alfresco dining experiences scheduled! (Still don't know where to dine in Sedona though.)

I've had a  all week and am still sneezing and blowing, but must get my house picked up so the cleaning service can do a spring cleaning job for me before sister gets here. So it's been putter, nap, putter, DIS, putter, nap, putter all weekend. Now.....should I sign off and putter....or nap?

Granted it is just the two of us for next year but it was worth the deposit to secure our room and then not have to think about it for another year....if you can find a way to do a deposit book it now and then worry about paying for it in the months to come after this fall is done... :goodvibes

Jackie, Jeff was down in Nogales last week and they got 2 inches of snow....what's up with your weather??? Of course...we up in Michigan are always willing to share our lovely winter... :teeth:

Yes, there was quite a bit of excitment here when we got snow on the surrounding mountains. Major traffic jam up to higher ground as everyone wanted to have their first ever snowball fight! Being from the mid-west I didn't feel the need to participate in that madness. We did have snow here in the valley one January....'99, '00, '01???? don't exactly remember.... I don't think it lasted the whole day.

I have a LOT of catching up to do on this thread. I have been so busy taking care of other things that I almost forget about my own sailing (oh, but I just CAN'T WAIT for this cruise to get here!)
While it will be our second without the kids, it will be the FIRST one without them that my son is old enough to understand what he is missing (and oh how he LOVES the Disney cruise...he asks me EVERY DAY when we can go back on the "Disney Cruise Ship". I have one of the DVC exclusive ship models on my fireplace mantle and he goes over to it almost every day saying "Mommy, there is my Disney Cruise Ship! I want to go to the kids club again and go on the pirate slide." He had so much fun last fall (he had just turned 4 right before the cruise.)
But with this being our anniversary, and his first year in school, as well as our daughter being a sophomore in high school in the fall we decided it was for the best to do the sailing on our own. We'll take them again in 2007 (be it a Mediterranean if I can swing the cost) or a regular cruise that spring or fall.

I can't wait to get to know you all better and to enjoy this trip.
I'll catch up with what's going on in this thread and will be sure to post more often. :wave2:

I grew up in phxwe used to get snow onec a year but you had to be up on teh eary side of 5:30 and be ready for it it would land on the trash can and melt as soon as the sun came up.

Welcome, Spotdude. How exciting to do a vow renewal on the ship! Are you doing it on CC or deck 7? When I went to check out deck 7 on my cruise last Nov they had it set up for a vow renewal or wedding and it looked beautiful. ::yes:: Oh, welcome to the DIS boards also!

We will have a DIS meet departure day at 3PM in the Promonade lounge and are also planning a DIS lunch on one of the sea days to celebrate birthdays/anniversaries etc as many of us are doing 'celebratory' cruises. Stay tuned for details!

Well, double-dippers, one more week and then I get a week off to run wild through the streets of Phoenix/Scottsdale/Sedona with my sisters. I'm so looking forward to it, if I could only shake this cold .....arrrrrrrg! At least I'm sleeping through the night now. Oh, if they would only let me take a little nap at work each afternoon. Speaking of work, guess I'd better hit the shower and head on in and sell some time.......anyone wanna buy 30 seconds?

Welcome back Dave and Monica! I'm glad you enjoyed Hawaii... I've been twice and loved it both times! My first trip there I met someone at a Luau that lived across the street from the Dole Plantation. I LOVE fresh pineapple, and the gentleman I met brought a freshly picked and sliced pineapple to my hotel room the morning after the luau. :cheer2:

I've got a question for you (or anyone one else who knows as well) about the sub experience. I get slightly claustrophobic on the sub ride at DL... how does the Atlantis experience compare to the DL subs? I love seeing the coral and tropical sea life, but without being SCUBA certified I'm not sure the best way to see it.

I hope you are feeling better. Have a wonderful fun time with your sisters.
To All
We had a really nice weekend . We went to Venice beach to visit our freinds who will be coming with us on the cruise. They have named me "Julie McCoy"(loveboat).Too funny. I had so much fun showing them our pictures from our past cruise and telling them All I know!! My other friend who is traveling with us will be down in Florida next month so I can get her up to speed. It is so exciting. My freinds said " This is crazy, for the first time in my life I am wishing the summer away!" How true.
Have a great day :sunny:

We really enjoyed the Subs. They are the same company (Atlantis) and the same size as the ones in the Caribbean. They are a little more spacious than the ones at Disneyland however, you do have to climb a small ladder to get in an out. We had a great time and even have their souvenir DVD if you would like a copy.

The Dole plantation was the best. I already went online to buy more Dole products from the store at the plantation. Gotta love that pineapple!

We will be doing it on Deck 7. When we were on the Wonder over haloween we check out everything that we could. Disney World and the cruise. Deck 7 was the best.looking foward to seeing all ove you there.
