November 10, 2007 - MAGIC - Eastern

Hi gang! Seems like I missed 3 pages  !!!!!!!!!

To much work at the office, in 10 years we never had such a crazy month of October!!!!:headache:

Forget about hurricanes and everything else!;)

This cruise is for all of us!!!!!!!!! No one else!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

So now, I find the question about the Bahamas form really important, no one can answer that one???????????????:rolleyes1

I was wondering where you were today! :rolleyes1

Welcome Twokings!

First off, welcome TwoKings!

Now, here's my silly first timer question. I went to fill out the Bahamas immigration form, and section 2 is a bit confusing. It asks how many nights you are staying. Are we supposed to put 1 since Castaway Cay is in the Bahamas, or do we put 7 because we are on a seven day cruise? :confused3 I read another thread on this, but there was no consensus. I asked my TA and she was very helpful, she told me to ask at the port. I figured the experienced folks on our meets thread might have some insight for me.

Thanks much!
Michele

We've always put one night, except for the double dip last year, when we put two. And they've always let us go to Castaway Cay. For those who haven't been there yet, Castaway Cay is like heaven on earth. And I'm not a beach person.

I finally made my door signs today. And we carved our pumkins tonight (no Disney ones this year.) One Halloween is over, it's November, and our trip is practically here:banana:  .

What are your kiddies dressing up as for Halloween?

DD (7) Sharpay from High School Musical
DS (3) Red Power Ranger
DS (5 months) Koala Bear

Happy Halloween to all! After this, I will be going into serious trip packing & planning mode:)

When my daughter and I get off the ship we are spending 1 night at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We plan to do all 4 parks in 2 days with intent doing all of the things that have changed since our August "07" visit.

These are the things I am aware off.

Magic Kingdom decorated for the holidays
Haunted House

Epcot decorated for the holidays.
Epcot turned 25, not certain how spaceship earth looks now.

MGM decorated for the holidays
Osborne Light Festival

Animal Kingdom decorated for the holidays
Tuskers now has breakfast with characters including Daisy Duck
Jingle Jungle Parade

Does anybody know of anything else.
Any must sees from a decoration for the holidays perspective

Does the castle only sparkle during the Very Merry Christmas party.

Did they update the Haunted Mansion this year with Nightmare Before Christmas?

We were there last year and were disapointed that they didn't change it in WDW and they do in DL, so I hope that they are going to "Nightmare" it up this year!!

We will be in WDW at the Animal Kingdon Lodge, till the 26th, but we are still waiting on the "wait list" for our last 3 nights with DVC. We have a back up hotel at Beach Club just in case.

PS - woody, if you want, you can update our cabin on the roll call...

. . . We want to head to St. John in the afternoon. Any suggestions on the best way to get their not via a Disney Excursion.
We took the ferry from Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas) to Cruz Bay (St. John). It cost $10 one way and takes 45 minutes.

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

You know what that means!!!! I always told myself when we booked this cruise, that when we would get to halloween day it would mean we are REALLY CLOSE TO CRUISING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Mom & Dad as Mom & Dad:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hope I can come more often for the rest of the week, I love being here with you guys!;)

I finally heard from my daughters teacher. She seemed ok about her missing school for the cruise. She is going to give her the work she will miss in advanced and she is going to let her take her social studies test on Thursday instead of Friday morning if she wants. The principal was also good about it saying that she doesn't recomend it, but she understands that sometimes it is unavoidable in the real world. I was really nervous about how the school was going to be about it, so this is a big load of my shoulders.:)

Just a little over a week to go!
