Sorry I haven't checked in for a while! Between school and cub scouts & other stuff starting, it's taking a while to get back into a routine.

We saw Jimmy Buffett the other night so I'm back in cruise mode!

We have 2 kids in my stateroom, 1 boy & 1 girl. My sister & her DH has 1 toddler boy. (And my parents want to participate too so they are 2 big kids )

Do we have an idea about how much stuff we need to get? Do we do it just once during the cruise or is it daily? I need to place an Oriental Trading order soon for other stuff and I found a few cute things there for the cruise.

Hi guys! Sorry I've too been caught up with the back to school stuff!

I need to look up our stateroom #s for the little dis fairy ....sorry Purple Princess...I'll get those to you shortly.

But we are getting ready!!! We are trying to wean our triplets from their pacifiers before the trip...so today we packed up all the pacifiers in the house, went to the post office and mailed them to the "babies" who needed "pacies" so we are keeping our fingers crossed that we can make it on the cruise without having a stash of pacifiers!

Next.... making my tye die Mickey shirts! I saw them here on the boards and can't wait to try them. Has anyone else made them?

I am so excited to go cruising. Its been 13 years since I've cruised. I haven't checked in in a while. Just curious as to what the fish extender thing is about? Also, has anyone done the door magnets? I got some magnets and am hoping to make a couple soon. Do I just print on regular paper and laminate it?

I had modified the standard DISer lime green ears for one of our door magnets, and thought I'd put it here too in case any of y'all want a copy!

Getting excited now!! We're starting to get close!!

I print on magnetic paper - but many people like the laminated w/ magnets on the back option better... it's kind of a 'whichever you like better' thing! Either way, it will be great!

I have been asked to keep SR #'s off the public forum. I will also keep the kids info off it as well for safety reasons. I will keep the master list and send it out PM right before the cruise. So the list above has been modified.

Wow....you are on the ball! It is still 85 + degrees here and we are wearing summer clothing. Normally it would be put away by now and I could pack what we were bringing. I have a little bag with a few things. I have started my door magnets and have bought the kids pirate costumes. I still have to get one for Mark and I.

I just had to post because I am so annoyed! I got an email this morning that Jet Blue changed our flight time to Orlando from noon to 8am, which just does not work for us since the airport we are using is 2 1/2 hours away. UGH - the only other flight time they offer is 2:50 pm. So now we don't get to the Radisson until after 7pm at the earliest. I booked it there because the pool looked so nice and I thought my son would love it, and now he won't even get to use the pool since it will be bedtime once we have dinner!

I know it's just a little glitch, and I'll be over it shortly, but I just had to rant! Hope you all don't mind.

On the bright side, only 45 days left!

Couldn't you leave early to get to the airport and take that 8am flight??? Or sleep at the hotel the night before (thursday night) to catch that flight???

It would be a shame to loose your all day in an airplane

Jet Blue has changed our flight time twice already, but luckily the total time difference is just 40 minutes later. I didn't want to land as late as we are (7:15), but at least my daughter can stay in school on Friday a bit later and we are staying at the Hyatt at the airport so we don't have to go far.

We booked the flight portion with DCL, so for now, the only thing I'm sure off, is that we are leaving on friday the 9th. Thats it!!!!!!

I hate it when plans change like that. If it were me, I would take that 8AM flight or as French Snowwhite says stay over Thursday near the airport. You could leave after school/dinner on Thurday or on Friday get DS out of bed and let him sleep in the car or once on the plane. Would you have to leave at like 3AM/4AM?
