Well, I got Palo brunch for mom, sister and me but we could only get it for the last at-sea day....by then we may all hate each other and probably won't want to spend special girl time together :lmao:

Got the kids registered in the clubs, got my 2 spa appointments I wanted....I'm a happy camper today :cool1:

Hope everyone else gets what they need/want! :goodvibes

Congratulations to all who were successful in getting their ressies done. Now I wish I'd made my Palo Brunch ressie for 1030 instead of 1100 so we could sit by the window. Oh well. lbullard: sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your question about the kids' ages (I haven't checked the thread lately). Anyway, my sons are 13 and 15. Oh and don't worry about the Palo reservations; I've heard of lots of people who got what they wanted after they got on board. :goodvibes

:sad1: I'm soooo sad.....some of you already have Palo and excursions booked, but as first time cruisers we have to wait until August 27th at midnight..............

Can't wait anymore.....:rolleyes1

I want to book my things right away!!!!:lmao:

Anyone else with me on this one????:rolleyes1

I'm sure you'll be able to get something if not everything you want :goodvibes My sister and her family are also first timers so they have to wait too. She wanted to get a few Flounder reservations but has to wait too. :)

Last year, we went on the double dip this same week. We were in London at the time of booking, so it was already morning for us when it was 3AM east coast time. I got on line, and could not book brunch reservations. On the day the cruise started, I went right to Rockin' D Bar, and was able to get brunch ressies with no problems. They hold back about 50% of the PALO ressies for people who could not book on line for one reason or another.

But good news is that ressies for Palo are still available on line, so you should be able to make them on the 27th. And if not, try to board early. Good luck.

I am sure you will get your Resi's I was only able to book for four of us and there are eight in my party ... So I need to get the rest with us for the same time ......

Lynn, you weren't able to book for everyone in your party at once? Were you only able to book up to 4? Are you talking about Palo or am I confused as usual? :rotfl2:

I was able to book brunch for 3 of us: me, my mom (CC member too) and DSis (1st timer) without a problem. We are all in seperate staterooms. And something I did not know, which surprise the heck out of me....I may have been able to book Flounders for DNephew, even though he is not in our stateroom and is 1st timer. A section came up asking if I needed Flounder reservations for him during our Palo meal. Our reservations are all linked so the whole extended family all came up too when I booked all our stuff. (But I couldn't book DSis or anyone from her family seperately for anything, ie. excursions, spa etc....not that I tried :rolleyes1 OK! I tried 1 spa appointment for her the same time as mine, I confess :rotfl: It came up saying her booking window was not open yet.)

I know I will be able to do it .....

Hello everyone!

Kimberly has kindly directed me to this forum to meet others on the Eastern sailing. Looks like I have a lot to read to catch up with all of you! My name is Cheryl and I will be traveling with a family of seven that includes Grandma.
We are on Deck 6 in rooms 6112/6114. I have 4 children Susan 9, Amanda 7,
Eric 5, and Adam 3. We are not new to cruising, but this will be our first Disney Cruise. I have been planning this for a long time! :thumbsup2

I am also worried about not getting the reservations for Palo! Seems like past cruisers and special packages were able to book so far ahead of what I can do! :confused3

I am almost certain that we would like to do the Regatta in St. Marten and some sort of Snorkeling in St. Thomas. I have been to Trunk Bay. So may not be too interested in that one. Any Advice?

:welcome: Cheryl!!!!!

Don't worry about Palo and excursions reservations!!!! They hold a lot of them onboard!!!;)

You'll be able to book those I think on August 27th (correct me people if i'm wrong!!!)

Just have to do our time before the cruise now!!!!!

Can't wait to meet you and your family!!!!:goodvibes

Hi Cheryl!

Glad you found us! It's me...I post as Stimpy here, Figaro over at passporter I have a bit of an identity crisis. LOL I wouldn't worry too much. Like FrenchSnowWhite said, they do hold back ressies to allow everyone a chance. :)

Hey everyone,
Haven't posted in awhile, things have been kinda crazy. It's now been three months since Dsis and I lost our father, so things are just finally sinking in. I can't wait to get away to Disney and our first DCL trip. Sadly, I think DH and I won't have the money for too many excursion type things. Maybe we'll just do some beaching near the ship and some shopping. I dunno. I'm really hoping we'll get to do Palo (as my mentor has said this is a MUST do for us). We're all paid up now though. I believe our room is 2614 or something like that. Here's a quick question for ya'll...if you already have your room number, is there still a chance they'll bump you up into a better category? Just curious :p Anyways, hope everyone's having a good month.

Wow, I have really had to read a lot catch up on this thread!

Now I am finding myself second guessing my flight plans. It seems as if nearly everyone is flying in the day before. We are on the 6:30 AM  United flight out of Chicago that arrives in MCO about 10:18 AM. It has about an 80% on time record. I had to do this because of my MIL work schedule. I guess I could probably change it to late Friday but that could be very costly for 7 tickets!
We are staying 2 nights afterward at the Carribean Beach Club. We will visit my Brother and spend a day or two at the parks. What time do you think we could be getting back to Orlando?

We've been upgraded twice, even though we already had a cabin assigned.

Hey all!

Sorry it has been a very busy summer and I havent been on line for a while. Only 84 more sleeps!!!! Just wondering if you can book the wine tastings and martini party on line or do you wait until you are on board? Do these usually take place in the afternoon or evening? Thanks

Marnie
