I got the results from the Lyme Test yesterday ... it's NEGATIVE! I am still a bit wobbly but nothing that a few more days of meclizine can't/won't fix

I/we live in Lyme Central. We have had at least 25 neighbors who have gotten it and lots of families dogs have gotten it too!

I am hoping I can get back to my trip report before I forget all the good stuff!

I took a much needed nap while David took the girls on a Daddy date at Silver Diner.

They also had a trip to Barnes & Noble bookstore to get Grammy a book in large print. WOOO HOOOO! Daddy got a 40% off coupon. They loved the String Quartet that was entertaining the customers.

I plan to head out to the hardware store to pick up a few things. Our ACE Hardware Store reminds me of Western Auto store when I was a kid.

Thank-you! And please tell DD11 I said I agree!! Did they bring you cake on the ship? On the last night they sang Happy BD to me and gave me cake. How are you celebrating our birthday, Jeff? I'm decorating one of our Christmas trees- we put up a HUGE tree in out family room. It has always been a real tree- but because they were so large, we always had problems with stands- so last year, the last straw was the 9 foot tree fell over, smashing a TON of ornaments AND tangling up all the lights!! I had to take everything off... and put everything back on because it happened before Christmas. And I did it all while sobbing- The morning after Christmas I went out and bought an artificial one. So now I will only have to do this big tree ONE time, AND I can enjoy it longer!! The reason I'm telling you all this, is because- I just put up the very pretty ornament from LBIGirl67!!

I just finished putting up the tree. Next comes the lights. The girls went to see Bolt this afternoon so we will be adding ornaments this evening. We have many new vacation ornaments for our tree - THANKS EVERYONE! Every vacation we get ornaments for our tree. It ends up being our family vacation history!

Birthday cakes on the cruise - oh my! Our first night our server brought out a birthday cake for me, along with the the other servers singing happy birthday. I mentioned that we had several people celebrating that week, DW's birthday on the 30th, and bfosbenners DD12 celebrating a November birthday as well. As you can imagine there were two more birthday cakes delivered that week. ...and then bfosbenners DS3 (a great little guy!) after a week finally talked to our server so another cake was given to him! Let them eat cake! ...and creme brulee, pie, ice cream, mousse, and more!

Too funny! Did you notice while some of the cake might have remained,the chocolate with the ship image was always quickly eaten.

Well, I really need to go back on the ship. Justin DS14 broke his ankle (Tillaux Fracture) day after Turkey Day playing football, so I've been running around. He's wheelchair bound for 6 weeks and then to a walking cast for 6 more...and it goes from there.

Hi everyone,

I've been going through DIS withdrawals. Since we've been home DD hasn't given me much computer time. We've done 2 rounds of antibiotics for a very stubborn first ear infection and as soon as we finished, she got another cold which has now turned to croup. I'm ready for another vacation!

It was so fun to meet you all on the ship! Maybe some of us will meet up again during future Disney travels. I just booked us a stay at the Disneyland Hotel for DH's birthday (if I can find 5 more DVC points--if any of you DVC members have some to transfer I'd make it worth it). Did anyone rebook for next November? We're sailing to St. Croix on the Magic.

LBIGirl... Sorry to hear about DH. Football is a great game, but it takes its toll on the body. Hopefully, he'll take a few hints from Mom regarding rehab.

Thanks to everyone for making this cruise so great! The FE gifts were amazing!

WuvTigger... When the girls saw the ship for the first time (on the Avis shuttle) it was a wonderful experience. The looks on their faces, and screams of joy were priceless!

Is is possible to send this pix to me.

DH just went through the pix & all of our copies are TOO dark. I tried to play with the contrast, color, etc and it still looks awful!
