but I know what comes after it, so I'm am trying to deal with all this stuff in my Living Room, Dining Room etc. All our bedrooms have stuff pulled out and the animals are into everything !!
I have so much to pack and it's not all for the cruise...it's horrible.

O.K...
Laptop is charged and ready to go........need it when we get to inlaws.
All tix, passports etc. are in folder and in backpack for carry on.
All haircuts done except for DH and if he doesn't do it, I'm doing it while he's sleeping...

Still have to get nails/pedi done this week...god I hope I have time !!
Have to go to Walmart and stock up on underwear...need 10 pairs each or I'll be doing laundry.
Forgot extension cord/power strip so all chargers can be done at same time...sure not enough outlets.

Ahhh, the sound of the Margarita Machine whizzing,,,DH is an angel right now...

Can you believe I still haven't decided on excursions....

Rethinking Boatswain on Grand Cayman. Very mixed reviews. Now probably going to do the island tour with the butterfly farm. Sounds very tourist-y and will get DD over to the turtle farm.

Anybody ever done the Power snorkel treasure hunt in cozumel? That is the hunt for buried treasure during guided snorkle adventure at Aqua Beach and See-Doo scooter. Trying to figure if it is interesting snorkling or if "hunting for buried treasure" is going to be like the treasure hunt on CC. It would be ok if there is going to be some fishies to see. I'd like to do the Fury Catamaran Sail, snorkle and beach party but that returns at 5:30 and interferes with main dinner seating (which I think is Pirate Night if I read my navigators right).

DD did the bulk of her packing today - she picked out stuff and I got to iron. What fun. Great way to pass a rainy NJ Saturday.

The packing has begun! We brought out all suitcases this evening. I really am trying to limit my packing. Now its a matter of trying to find room for the important stuff like FE, magnets, etc!

Four more days of work finish packing when DH gets the rest of his stuff together. Right now he is out buying early birthday gift for me(new camera) now to clean house up some before we leave.
Mindy-we had a great time at CEC. glad the kids had a chance to get to know each other. Waiting to hear from Muffin07 about their flight down and to tell her about CEC.

Oh, I hope this week flies by...with halloween and all, we will be busy right until the day we leave. I still haven't printed out the directions to the port...LOL, I know we will be lost the day we leave...I guess that's not even funny. LOL. I keep spending all of my cruise money on must haves for the cruise...ME!! Who never wears a costume!!! Actually bought a pirate costume for pirate night...now I will have to see if there is enough alcohol on board for me to actually wear it. It's cute, but I'm still on the fence...I'll have to see what everyone else is wearing at the time.
I'm going to attempt more packing tomorrow. The washer and dryer is going round and round as I sit here. Most of the stuff can't be packed until the day before but we will be trick or treating...arrgh...I won't get any sleep that night...I got my bracelets in the mail....since you couldn't read the words on them I decided to paint the letters with black paint and wha-laa..now you can read them...LOL. I'm so Martha Stewart-y huh?

One of the laundry rooms is on deck 6 starboard. There is an ironing board, and iron available. I believe there is another laundry room on deck 2, but not sure.

First of all the passporter says theres also a laundry on deck 7 - there's 3 on board.

Just finished all 8 of my tshirts for 7 people. I was up in the air about whether to wear a big loose one or a more fitted one, so I made myself one of each....didn't mess up any....

Had a great time at CEC with Buglady and DD...if all of you are even 1/2 as nice as they were (I'm sure your all just as nice) - we're all going to have a great cruise.

Next week at this time I'll either be in the hot tub with a margherita or having the ship rock me to sleep.

We head to WalMart after church today to pick up some last minute things.

I will double check the kiddos clothes after they leave for school tomorrow am.

I was thinking last night while we were at Air & Scare that it was the 1st night on the ship.

I really need to tear myself away from this stupid computer and get some more laundry and packing done. I am seriously running out of time!!

Headed out to Target last night in the Monsoon to get a Garment Bag...The gown and DS7's tux were just getting smashed in the suitcase.
DH said he's packing on Wed. night....UH YO DH !!! WE ARE LEAVING THURS !!! ( still talking like I'm from Philly hence the Phillies Win last night).
Still can not figure out why you men must wait until the last freakin minute to do things.
Anyway, at least me and the kiddos will be ready to leave.
I have all wrinklys in the Garment Bag.
All costumes in a small bag to be checked. My hat took up more room than anything.
All dinner wear and dressier clothes in another bag with extra hangers. Shoes etc.
One carry on for bringing aboard with that nights dinner clothes and swimwear, just in case.
Rolling duffel bag has all shampoos, soaps etc in Ziplocs as to not leak. Hair Dryer, flat iron etc will go in there on Thurs. morning.
One last good size suitcase will hold all the shorts, T's and hang out clothes.
So far that gives me 5 suitcases.....hmmmm we are allowed 8 total....
I am thinking of packing one large duffel bag with all the empties for bringing home and I'M DONE !!!!!
DKiddos are carrying their own backpacks....although I don't know if they'll need them for DS'7s teacher gave him his homework already and it's done. DS14's teachers have no clue what they are teaching yet and told me that he can make up everything when he gets back.
Are we there yet?

AT least your DH is packing his own stuff...if I don't pack for mine he wouldn't have any clothes to wear At least if I do it, it is done and I don't have to keep asking "Did you pack (fill in the blank)?

Not that I really want to get up at 4-5 am but my body is done sleeping.

I can accomplish SO MUCH more than when the family is awake.

We did our last WalMart run today.

DS'7s teacher gave him his homework already and it's done. DS14's teachers have no clue what they are teaching yet and told me that he can make up everything when he gets back.

Glad to hear DS7's homework is finished. DD11 had Friday off, so DW & DD have been doing homework the past two days, and plan on doing more this afternoon. We keep saying it's the price we have to pay for cruising during the school year.

Hmmm... next week at this time we'll be walking the streets of Key West looking for chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick! (it always tastes better on a stick!)

It must be frozen however, so that it's real cold.
This time next week I will be dragging DH and DS's into Coach and Birkenstock on Duval St. all the while listening to DS14 ask me over and over again " Ma, you gonna get that thing or just stare at it for another 3hrs" (I try to justify spending $100 on shoes and $300 on a pocketbook prior to purchase) however either way, the guilt doesn't last long.
My theory is if I have to visit the Pirate Museum, the Head Shops so DH can find some obnoxious saying/pic shirt and every god forsaken tourist trap with DS7, I am due my little time.

WARNING.. for those that have never been to KW. Most windows have T's with very explicit sayings/pics....if you are not ready for this with the youngins, avoid Duval St. You are still safe however if they can't read yet.

It is finally starting to seem real to me and I am getting excited. We are working on some packing today. I just finished writing out my labels for the FE gifts and working on one of my items. The remaining work is to assemble on the ship as it is smaller to pack things in the packages they came from. I have Tuesday but will be delivering late night on Monday as we have an early excursion on Tuesday. My theme is tied to Tuesday so I think it will be good for people to get them by the am anyway!!

so I've done about 7 loads of laundry - I have DS and DD 90% packed...DH is packing himself and I have most of my stuff set aside so that shouldn't be too bad....Now I need to pay bills....I'm tired...I need a vacation.....SOON!!!!
