Shiver me timbers....i shall be three sheets to the wind by 4pm!! (In my dream, this is where Captain Jack swoops in and rescues me and we live happily ever after on his luxury yacht...The Black Pearl...anyone else with a Johnny Depp obsession?!!)

When I read the Voyage of the Dawn Treader to my Godchildren a few years ago I stopped reading the Poop part because they would get the giggles. So they were just on the deck ;-)

When we went on our first cruise with pirate night DH was quite fond of putting the sugar in the RAaaW!!! in his coffee. (every cup every day, all week )

Rachel and I will be heading to Disney area today for a quick trip for some ski school! We plan to hit Blizzard Beach too! I got a great deal from Spirit! $9 flights!

Just found out about this message board....guess we're joining the jersey week crew for our first DC. Cruising with my DH, DD, and DS ( 7 years old) Can't wait....

We're trying to encourage everyone to attend our "DCL DIS Meet" Saturday afternoon at 3 pm in the Promanade Lounge. It's a chance to meet the folks on this thread who have been talking about this cruise for up to 21 months!

I'm sorry I didn't find this board earlier. I went back and read some posts and found out about the FE's. What a great idea. I guess I'll know for next time...too bad we missed it. I do have some questions that i would appreciate any advice on...
1. Wanted to go to Palo on Key West night, but of course it was all booked up. Disney Rep suggested we make a ressie for another night and it would be easier to change than get a new ressie...is this true? We didn't want to miss any of the theme nights with our kids since this is our first time...
2. We're also attending the halloween party...and taking a van with friends the next day....what time should we get to port?

3. Any other hints that we might not have gotten elsewhere?

We went back and forth on this and decided not to do the party because we really are not night people. We will be going to MK during the day on the 31st. The hrs on the DIS page show it is open until 7pm but if the party starts at 4 is that right? Trying to think about what kind of tickets to buy. We are also going to have one park day after the cruise.

We're going to MNSHP. From what I understand, people that purchased tickets only for the party can enter the park as early as 4 pm, however, the party doesn't officially start until 7 pm and lasts until 12. When my family sleeps late, it's no later than 9 and that gives us enough time to get to the ship the next day. We're flying in that day and thought it would be nice for the kids since we're missing Halloween at home. My husband does Halloween up big with over the top decorations at home, so the kids were a little upset.

Welcome aboard!!!!
You will have a great time at MNSSHP!!! You can get in at 4 and it seems that not everyone knows that so, it's least busy at that time. My kids loved it as there are shorter lines than usual and the trick or treating was fun.

I'm not sure on the time to arrive at the port, this is our first cruise too.
