Shopping for DD and I are basically done just need the extras like jewerly, meds, games for DD's gameboy/ds, etc. Still need DH to go shopping for pants and sport coat. Need DH to check luggage to see if we have enough before the Labor day sales. Oh where, Oh where are those passports inthe house time to get them out of hiding and put them with the cruise documents. Anyone going to downtown disney on Halloween?
about those green head flies- they eat pollen like honey bees bad news the females need blood from a "warm" blooded animal to reproduce best to pray for an ocean breeze and the field guys say avoid wear dark colors like navy blue and/or black.

On tux response, ordered DS7's and am waiting for it to come in. He's going to look like a mini-godfather....sooo cute.

LOL We're actually all done with passports, so we're safe. I had called my parents months ago and told them they had to get passports and SOON! I didn't want to worry about them still needing one, especially this close to the cruise. They got them right away, so it wasn't as bad as I thought.

So bring on the cruise!

Hi,
Our family are not heading into Magic Kingdom before the cruise, even
thought we are staying on site. Our only plans are doing Chef Mickey's
Dinner on Thursday night, hang around, maybe see the boat show or the
fire works from the Contemporary Hotel. Then on Friday (Halloween),
get up late, have a nice breakfast, in the late afternoon we are going
to head over to Downtown Disney. We will have dinner their, have our
Granddaughter (7) do some trick or treating in her costume and do some
shopping. Have an relaxing night before the cruise. Oh, we will be
wearing our lime green braclets.

It looks like the CC kaying adventure is for 10 & up. I did see where the Personal Watercraft Eco Tour -Double, starts at age 8.

Who else is excited about the Magic returning home to Port Canaveral? I remember when I booked this cruise thinking, the Magic is sailing to the Med, spending the winter in the Caribbean, and then spending the summer on the west coast. Now, she's finally coming home, and soon... IT'S OUR TURN!

DS7's tux arrived today from Ebay. It's adorable !! He's going to look so handsome. Anyone else looking, I can assure you that the one we got was of nice quality and price. I thought he was around an 8, but the tux is a 10 and only a tad big on him. I would suggest getting a true measurement and going by their size chart. I went for a 10 hoping to go to spring with it and getting a second use for communion.... , we may not make it that long if he keeps growing this way !

In 69 days (soon to be 68) we'll be on the Disney Magic.

In 10 weeks from right now we'll be sailing on the Magic in route to Key West, we'll either be asleep or up celebrating.



I'm getting very excited as it seems to be getting so close. Today DH, DD, and I drove to the nearest Disney Store (about an hour away) so that we could get some clothes for DD for the cruise. We found some cute Disney jammies, t-shirts, and a onesie. A girl has got to have the right clothes!

Does Castaway Kev know what lies ahead? I remember DW & I going to the Disney store buying cute Disney clothing for our daughter. After a few years, DD really enjoyed this. Now DD, soon to be 11 LOVES to go clothing shopping! For the past three weeks DW & DD have interchanged excuses, one day "cruise shopping", then "back to school", then "perfect for cruise and school", and then the cycle repeats!

Hate to say it, but a DS14 isn't much better !!! How many board shorts do you need for one week? I have learned the names Volcom, Billabong, and Vans more than Dolce Gabbana for pete's sake !! Worst part, DS7 is right behind him and wants what the older brother has.
You make it easy, I told them that whatever they pack THEY CARRY !! I will not carry their luggage, backpacks or carry ons....see how light they go now.
