Hey Momofsdd5-Please tell your DS10 that my DS10 who will be DS11 on the cruise is a big Giants fan- they'll have a blast! Welcome aboard- your kids are beautiful, looking forward to meeting you all!

Oh boy here will be THRILLED there is another Giants fan! During the super bowel we thought (at times) he was going to have a heart attach! My brother was at the game so when he got home he got 2 really cool new hats that he LIVES IN!!!

I called them the other day and they are not taking ressies, the have a convention in house so I wound up calling country Inn. We will be staying there.

Has anyone done this before on DCL?

I would love to do the FE's with a co leader.

ANY volunteers???

I will be looking for some Disney patches/embroidery at the local sewing store.

I am going to wait to do the actual FE in Sept. Both of our kids will be in school f/t and I can work without ALL the ?????

They are a pocket w/ a ribbon that are attached to the fish outside your stateroom.

I will try to post one off another thread.

It is a place to get little gifts, surprises or notes from other Disers on your cruise.

Do you mean coleader to coordinate cabin #'s and days of giving out gifts? I can help with that. If you mean sewing them all, I thought everyone made their own or bought it off of ebay- right?

Everyone would have to provide their own FE.

So, can we colead this??

I checked out the other thread on them They are such a great idea. The only thing that ny kids are a little bummed about with this cruise is that they will be missing Halloween. We will be flying down on the 31st so no trick or treating. I would love to help out so you can count me in! Great way to kind of have trick or treating, only the surprises are waiting for you!

Good point, Momofmmsd5! DD & DW were disappointed that we wouldn't be trick or treating. The fish extenders will be a great replacement!

Hi Election Day Castaways,
I would love to join in the fish extenders, but this is our first DCL
cruise and not really sure how this works. But it sure sounds like a
lot of fun. We are traveling down to Orlando several days ahead of the
cruise and are planning on taking our Granddaughter age 7 over to Downtown
Disney for a couple of hours for trick or treating. We were in Orlando
last year at the same time and this worked out very well, went over to
Downtown Disney early afternoon and after dinner the kids went trick or
treating and they had a lot of fun. (Now, this is not the Halloween Party
at Magic Kingdom, but still a lot of fun.) Guess it all depends on the
ages of the children.

As fellow fisherperson...DO NOT RAID THE TACKLBOX... This has nothing to do with casting off the back of the ship. These are the cutest thing I have ever seen for a cruise. They hang off the metal fish by your door. The "extend" part consists of it becoming like a mailbox. I am also a rookie DCL'r for this one. I am game on the extender thing myself. Count us in, we could make this like a " Treasure Hunt " for the kids.....Go to cabin "blah blah" on Deck " blah blah " find next clue etc......At the end, it could be a nice treat. Let me know thoughts. Especially for a Day at Sea game.
