November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

Just received my papers from the AAA lady! WOO HOO!! 27 days!!


But, we only received 8 of the hard plastic luggage tags. What do we do if we have more than one bag each? Will ME take the bags if there is a regular luggage tag on them? We will still be putting the ME stickers on them. Just wondering if the luggage tags had some significance.

33 days to go but then I suppose it depends on what time we actually leave right or is it when we actually check in... LOL... details, details! I'm a bit obsessive checking my ticker.

You should be fine as long as you have the ME stickers on them. I would suggest getting some string...like wrapping paper string (not sure of the official name)...to tie around the handle close to ME stickers to help pick your luggage out.

Thank you guys so much for the prayers and good thoughts for MIL. They ended up doing the surgery yesterday. They put 10 screws in her left arm/shoulder and the right arm was shattered and they had to put in a new ball for the ball joint. Today is my younger children's homecoming and so I am taking them and DH and older son is gonna head on to the hospital then so they can get FIL some lunch on the way. DH's Aunt was going early this morning so FIL could go home and shower. We do know MIL will be in the hospital until at least Monday.

Are you using ME? If not then you should be fine if you don't receive documents. Just make sure yo have your confirmation number, ID, etc.

As a matter of fact, exactly 3 weeks from now (10:00 am) I hope to be just a few hours away!

CBR is our favorite resort!!!

It's our first time staying on site. So we have no idea on resorts. I'm a little worried about the size. I keep thinking about requesting certain areas.

Ohhhhh, what a great resort for your first on site stay!!! Be sure to go to the Resorts board to look at the CBR FAQ thread and the pics under Resort Photo's!

Martinique 24, 25 and 26 and all of Trinidad North buildings are considered Preferred Rooms because they're right beside Old Port Royale where the food court, sit down restaurant, arcade, gift shops, main pool and marina are located.

If you don't want to pay for Preferred then I would suggest calling and requesting Martinique 22, Aruba 51 or 52 or Jamaica 45, 44 or 46. These are all a 5 minute walk at the most to Old Port Royale. Safetymom has a great thread with information about CBR as well as photo's. Definitely pull up the Resort Map at www.allears.net to see the best islands to stay. We normally request Aruba 51 or 52 or Jamaica 45...just a 5 minute walk or dance like we do over the bridge and island (caribbean music is piped through the island) to OPR. You're gonna just love the main pool!!!

Also CBR has two floors at each building...there are no elevators. So if you have strollers or wheelchairs or anything like that be sure to request 1st Floor!

Wanted to send you some prayers and good thoughts for your MIL. It sounds like she had quite the surgery!! What have they said about recovery time? Wow...I can't imagine...10 screws and a new ball. I'll continue to keep you all in my prayers.

WhooHoo!! We are really excited, Monday morning we get on a plane and head to the Magic. So today we start packing so we can be on our way, for a 7 day stay at The Place of Magic.
