November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

Did everyone try for the code? AAA saved us $300. Had to switch resorts but I don't care!! We are now at the Carribean.

Quick question, I booked through Shades of Green but am staying at All Star Music... will the discount possibly work for me too? And... do I call the number on my ressie or Shades of Green or what??? TIA!!

well we found another home that we really liked so we decided to put an offer in on it.... We are pretty nervouse considereing all the bad luck over the past three months... it seems like since the fire nothing has gone right for us But hopefully.... fingers crossed... things with this place will go alot smoother. I'm going to continue thinking happy thoughts and about our vacation and my birthday coming up on Thursday and maybe... just maybe we'll be in this house before we know it.

Ok so that was a little life update, now for alittle trip update. I did alot of lurking this weekend and I was reading on a thread that was completely dedicated to Disney Cakes! I LOVE CAKE! There are a few little ones (there is only two of us would be stupid to get a huge cake) That were pretty reasonable price wise that i'm thinking about having delivered to the room. The ones i'm considering are.... The zebra cake, The little castle cake, or the mickey shaped cake. The zebra cake would go with the whole AKV theme and is very cool but not very disney, the little castle cake is adorable but is it too girly?, and the mickey shaped cake is Mickey shaped!! how can you go wrong with that? So which one should I get? Thoughts? TIA

I'm in Sweden and so I know about those pricey phone calls! We are using Dreams Unlimited also but did not receive a discount since we are staying at Pop Century. It's not so bad because only about 4 of our 15 nights would have been discountable but I'm thinking next trip I'm going to look in to getting a AAA membership! I used to have one when I lived in CA . I know it sounds crazy but the discount is pretty great! Good luck, hope you get a good discount .

Thanks kristina! I hope i'm in a new home before Disney! Even if things do go smoothly we won't be in this home until mid-september! At that point we'll only be a month and two weeks away from the trip!!!
As far as the cake goes i'm going back and forth from the Zebra cake and the Mickey shaped cake... its a toss up between the two. either way i'm sure it will be nice.

I had a buddy that was in Orlando last week send my 4 y/o a postcard from Mickey and friends. It was perfect. He squealed and danced and was literally shaking. He said it was amazing and he was so happy to go to Dizzyworld. He's taking it to pre-k show and tell.
