November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

Hi, I'm Deb. We are going on our first WDW vacation in November 2008 - staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I didn't see this thread earlier, would have been wonderful to count down with other people as November seems so far away. Hope I can join in now?

11/8 - 11/13th @ WL

Deb
Welcome! You're going to have so much fun! November does seem so far away, doesn't it? Helps counting down together, I think. :cheer2:

Welcome to the thread! You will be arriving at the world the same day I am leaving :(

I'm sorry you're leaving, but can't wait to arrive. I went to WDW 30 years ago - before there was anything but the MK there. My DH and twins have never been. I'm so excited I could bust. It's like a kid waiting on Santa.

91 days sounds better than 200! :) First it was counting down to make the ADRs. I'm happy to finally be in the double digits. :) My DDs just know we are going after Halloween - so once that day comes they will be bugging me. My DD Madison has looked at the MK map so much she can point out the teacups on it - that is the ride she is dying to try.

WooHoo, We just booked our trip for another Thanksgiving trip to the most magical place on earth!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Here's hoping they come out with the package discounts Monday!!!

Well, I got a pin code today that actually came in my daughter's name. I called to use it but they said there is a 3 night minimum. We are only staying at ASMo one night then off to AKV where we're renting points. Bummer we can't use the code for one night. :sad2:

:sad1: someone please explain to me why buying a house just isn't happeneing for me! I can't even explain how upset i am.... i'm not going to be closing with Jo. :sad2: I guess DBF and I are back to the drawing board and back to looking for another home.
Just keep thinking Disney... just keep thinking disney.... everything will be better soon... i hope

I'm sorry that you're having a hard time with the home buying process. I can understand how frustrated you are...and cliche as it may sound, everything happens for a reason. The right house will come along for you and you one of these days and that is when you will understand why it just isn't happening for you right now. Keep your chin up and keep looking. Have you tried looking on any of the websites where the owners are selling the house themselves without a realtor?

I know how you feel. I am so sorry you are going though this. I have been looking for a house since Feb. and in 5 mos. we have lost two houses and that was after we had signed contracts and settlement dates. We lost another house because we didn't get in to see it time before the other bid came in.{not going to say who's fault that was}
We found another and we are making settlement in 2 mos. God willing. Keep your fingers cross this one don't fall through.

Keep your head up, after thinking about the houses we did loss on, I think it would have cost us alot in the long run. It really was the best thing that we didn't get them.

:wizard: I am sending you so Pixie Dust

My DD & her fiance actually gave up on house hunting for a while. They really wanted to have a place by the time the get married next month. It just didn't happen. So they're going to concentrate on the wedding and try again next Spring.

The housing market is so unstable. People backing out of sales, people asking too much for their homes so they can pay off bills and loans, the list goes on and on. I just keep praying that the economy starts to get better so house sales will be near normal again for all involved.

Good luck to us all. :hippie:

Hi everyone! I'm taking my sister, bro-n-law and niece (4 going on 40) and nephew (8) to WDW in November 9-17. This will be the first time for all of us and to say that we are excited is putting it mildly. We are staying 11/9 - 12 at HGVC SeaWorld (I got a TS deal) and then on the 13th we are taking a Carnival Cruise and back on the 16 for one more night at a Disney property (TBD). I've got so many questions. Is there picnic areas at the parks for people who bring there own food? I've been reading about this AAA parking pass, does that cost money? Will the kids hate Epcot? We are planning the day before the cruise to go to the Kennedy Space Center - how much time does that take? Thanks for any wisdom you can give me.

Hello all! Just checking in. I haven't been on in a few weeks and haven't caught up on posts yet, but I just HAD to tell someone what I just found out! I just signed my 5 year old daughter up for dance class at a new place and guess where they will be dancing in November 2009??? THAT'S RIGHT!! DISNEY WORLD!!!! We are going back again next year! Luckily, this place has tons of fundraisers to offset alot of the costs. WOO HOO!!!

Im going the 3rd thru the 10th.... I can not wait!! this is my first ever trip, wish it was longer !!!

I was so busy packing, and then we were flying that I missed my own Double Digit Party. I still want to celebrate though.

Today was 90 days!!!   :dance3: :dance3:

We had a good flight down here. We had A passes with numbers 25-29 so we all got to sit together. The kids were great on the plane. :thumbsup2 As soon as they saw the Disney Store that is in the airport they were so excited. They were pointing out all the 2008 stuff. It was so neat to see how excited they were. Especially the twins because now that they are 5, they are to the point were they just LOVE Disney. It's like they get that Disney magic!!!

We have been having a great time in Florida. We have gone to the beach a couple days. We went to Cocoa Beach, and there were lots of jellyfish. My older boys caught around 30 of them. We also have gone to the pool a couple days. Today we swam and played at the pool for over 5 hours. It rained one day so we went to see the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Tomorrow we are going to DTD. The kids have pins they want to trade. The kids also want to get those slushies (not sure what they are called) from Goofy's Candy Shop. We also want to eat at Wolfgang Puck Express. We are going to spend the whole day there just soaking in as much Disney as we can.

We have one more week before we go to Disney's Vero Beach for a few days and then POR for a couple days.

It has been really hot here. The heat index has been around 105 some days. I am so glad we are going in November!!!

90 Days!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:
