November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

That's great Goofysmate! I need to get ours for Nov. 10 but haven't even tried calling yet. I wonder when they can be purchased online?

On a side note saratogagirl and her husband were on our honeymoon cruise in '06 - they were so much fun!

It was mentioned on another thread they would be on line in about a weeks time.

I've never met them yet, but have exchanged private messages with her and she does seem to be lovely.:thumbsup2

Thanks all for the congrats. I am so excited, I hope I don't spill the beans before the trip.

I get to make my ADRs on May 13th.

I hope they put out EMHs not much later after tomorrow.

I am getting MVMCP tickets tomorrow!!

That is so great!!! The kids will be excited. We have stayed at Nick Hotel many times, and my kids love it. I was trying to surprise my kids with MVMCP, but I couldn't keep it a secret. Then I was trying to surprise them with a Magical Gatherings Wishes cruise, and my mom (their gramma) told them about that. I hope they are excited when we do these special things.

Since you've been there before, you can help me with this. I was thinking of taking a day to just hang out at the hotel. It seems like there's alot of fun stuff to do there. Do you think that's a good idea or no? On our Disney check out/Nick check in day we'll probably do US and then check in after. The park closes at 6:00pm. Otherwise if you don't think there's enough to do for a day at the hotel, we'll do something else on check-out/check-in day. Does that make any sense?

When we went, we stayed at Nick Hotel for 4 days. Hanging out at the pool and all the other things they have is all we did. We didn't go anywhere else. We didn't even leave the hotel for those 4 days. So Yes, I think it is a great idea to just spend a day hanging out at the pool. My boys loved the water slides. They also have a small mini golf course we all did. In the afternoon there is a "show" at the pool. Lots of other stuff too. We also ate lunch in the "mall" area and got pictures taken with characters. We saw Spongebob, Patrick, Dora, Diego, and a couple others.

Sounds great! I'll go with my plan to hang out there that day then. Thanx.

Congrats on the new job. Thats awesome.

Thanks Bama, much appreciated!
Another benefit..... I now know my schedule, so we can plan our trip accordingly. First off, our dates are now officially okay, so that's good news. And as for arrival, we'll be flying in Tuesday evening, I'd say arriving sometime around 7.30 or 8.00. We may join my family for dinner, or we may head straight to the Magic Kingdom, which will be open late that night!

The calender for November is on the website, but not the hours. It's comforting to know, however, that the month will indeed be held this year.....:thumbsup2

Did anyone notice the November calendars are up at WDW.com? The park hours say "hours unavailable" as of now........but surely any day now they'll be filled in!!

I'm dying to start planning!!

We are officially there October 30th-November 6th, staying at a condo in Windsor Hills, going to MNSSHP for actual halloween night!

My DH went from construction work to being a welding instructor at our community college. Having a "schedule" is one of the best thing about the teaching position. With construction we never knew when or if he would have off time. Now we know several months in advance what DH's days (weeks) off are going to be.

We're going 11/14 ~ 1//16 to renew my pass & for my bday. We're FL residents, we take little weekends every 2 months or so. We're not staying on property, but I am happy just to be there....;)

Is that suppose to say 11/14-11/16 or are you really blessed and get to stay 2 months, because if its not a typo I am sooooo jealous!

I agree. Between teaching and scholarship, I sometimes work really long hours, but aside from my teaching times (for the fall, two days a week) and my office hours, I can do my work whenever I want to. There's also guest lectures and syllabus-determined off days (I exchange a couple each semester for mandated out-of-class group conferences), and it's also nice to be excused for my conference attendance. Everything breaks right this fall, so the trip is on!

Well, still no hours posted. :sad2: My mom, step-dad and brother are going with us. We all were going to have a big Disney planning party on Sunday. I guess we will have to put that off.

Don't give up yet. There's no reason to assume they won't be posted by Sunday! And if they aren't, then you have another excuse for a party (great idea, by the way!).
