We are at AKV instead of AKL. DH wants to add a day on the front of our vacation. No firm plans there yet. I don't know if my renter will be able to add a day at AKV. If not, no biggie, we'll stay somewhere else in the world for a night. DD2 wants to stay in a deluxe since it's only one night. We'll see how the purse strings are doing first LOL I'm all for an extra day in the world though!

I just booked my Nov.21-28 vacation today at AKL! I'm so excited, but it seems so far away! I'm glad I found this forum today! Maybe it will make the wait easier. I need lots of ideas for ADR's. I want to try some new places. I think we want to do the Ohana breakfast, but that's all we know for sure. I'm happy to join the list!

And from the way it appears, everyone on the list is now under 300 days. Seems like a long time, but for me that's a trip to the Met for La Boheme, a lovely spring, Euro 2008, a wonderful New York summer with tons of golf and hiking and Yankees games and day trips to Vermont and everything else I love about it, and then the beautiful Autumn foliage and the symbolic end of the Bush presidency...... never mind all the things I don't know about yet!
So my countdown is at around 2 months right now, eased a bit for now by the glow of the Giants' victory. After that, the trip to Disney World will arrive soon enough.......

Wow! Look at the size of our list!

Planning is a pain in the butt at the moment. I priced out the Poly for one night. 2 rooms would be $1200 with a theme park view. Man, I hope I get a code.

One thing I noticed is the price of the room varies by how many people are staying in it. Why is that? It's the same room whether you have 2 or 4 people right?

I'm recovering from Mardi Gras day. It's the first one I've been to in a while. I've been at WDW the last 2 years for Mardi Gras. I think its enough to last me several more years. Anyway, last time we went at Thanksgiving, it was pretty warm. A little cool in the morning and evening. I usually put long sleeve shirts on the boys in the morning over a short sleeve shirt and take it off when it warms up. I think we wore shorts most of the days. I would pack a few pairs of long pants just to have and a light jacket. We usually carry a small backpack and use it to stick extra clothes in if needed- especially if you are going to an outdoor show at night like Fantasmic.

Hi JoBird and all the November clan......I am new to this website (this is my first post) however I have just booked my 5th holiday to WDW. I am from England so i can't go to the parks as often as I would like..... i.e. everyday!

My DH and I are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel this time but we will be spending lots of time in the Disney Parks

We are going December 2nd - 16th...so I have a little longer to wait than most of you but I wanted to join your gang so we can count the days together!

Thanks for all the ideas etc that I have read on the message boards, although this is my first day of reading them....I know i am already hooked!
