I would say Yes to swimming. We have been in December a few times and it was warm enough to swim, but it is sometimes very windy. It is a warm wind, however when you get out of the water it will feel cool until you wrap in a towel. The actual temperatures in the Bahamas only varies 5 to 10 degrees all year around if you look at their stats. The winter is the "dry" season, so your less likely to get rained on too. We love going in the winter, no real humidity so the temperature feels great.

try searching thru old trip reports. past DIS cruiser usually give weather reports in their reports. We were at CC the end of November and the water was too cold for me.
