Hi eveyone. We are planning to go during the week (Mon-Fri) & can go anytime in Nov & Dec this year. Which of the following weeks will have the least crowds?

10/31
11/7
11/14
11/28
12/5
12/12

The air/hotel/rental car rates are about the same for each week so that doesn't matter.

Would be nice to see the Christmas decor at the hotels - when does that begin?

Thanks for you help. Julie

I would flip a coin for 10/31, 11/14, 11/28, 12/5
The differences between those four will be minimal.

Christmas decorations throughout the parks/resorts will be completely done by Thanksgiving, but MK will be decorated by the first MVMCP with the rest being worked on throughout the month of Nov. The EP Holiday Storytellers and Candlelight Processional also do not begin until the day after Thanksgiving.

The guy from the disneytouristblog (his name is escaping me) posted his favorite week to go to WDW was the week after Thanksgiving. We were there in 2015 Dec 5-12 and crowds were light until our last day. The week was practically perfect with nice mild weather and the Christmas decorations were beautiful!

If you're staying on-site you might pick the week of Dec.5 just so you have the opportunity to schedule your FP+ at 60 days.

The week of Nov. 28 is already pretty picked over, and I suspect it will be busier than usual because of the free dining that was available.

I woudl say week after thanksgiving but there is so many people on this forum talking about that week, it's the first year that week has discounts, including a week that free food was an option earlier in the year.. I think that week is going to be packed and I'm not sure there is a week in your listed times where it will be lower...

but it's been lower most of the year (not uncrowded, just lower) so we'll see. new discounts just popped out so that's a sign that disney is light but trying to fill the seats with last minute deals.. generally they work out and lots of people come.

Any thoughts on the week leading up to Thanksgiving? Sounds like Epcot will not be decorated for Christmas until that weekend? Thank you, just curious perhaps for a future plan :).

My experience is only week of christmas to just after new years is more crowded than week and weekend of thanksgiving.

We either go over thanksgiving or Christmas and the week of thanksgiving will be busy from about Wednesday through Saturday. I do highly recommend being able to experience holidays around the world at Epcot.
