can anyone please tell me about the weather end of Nov- early dec.
we are from WI so it will be cold here, but wondering about the temps there...50's ? 60's ? 70 ? 80's?

wondering for packing plans ( yes, i know 5 mths yet LOL) as to bring shorts, pants- coats etc?
is the humidity very high then? -

thank you

Tina

Very nice during the day - highs in the low and maybe mid 70s
Cooler at nights - will need a jacket and maybe long pants

I wore shorts and t-shirts during the day and a light jacket in the evening.

If you pack for a Wisconson summer and Fly down in your winter closthes, you will be fine. I would bring a sweatshirt for each.

I'm from MA and went LY in early Dec. Temps high 60's to low 80's with 1 day of drizzle and cool (50's).

The night we went to the MVMCP it was high 40's to low 50's. I wore long pants and a sweatshirt and was fine, natives were wearing gloves and winter coats.

Humidity was non-existant, almost every day was beautiful.

Plan for everything!

just in case. We went Dec 11-17th in 2002 & it was unseasonably cold & rainy. I had only packed warm weather clothes & we all had to buy sweatshirts which we have on in EVERY picture for the most part. Luckily had brought along our winter coats, hats & gloves which were a necessity in the evenings. We are from cold winters too but just weren't prepared for it to be so cold in Florida. We joked that we even brought sunscreen. We may go again this Dec & hopefully the weather will be a little better but at least I will be prepared if it isn't. I have to admit it was nice not dealing with roasting in the parks.

We were there during that time, last year. The temps were in the 70's most days. We wore jeans and tshirts most of the time, shorts two days it hit close to 80. At night, we wore spring jackets over our tshirts and were fine.

It's a great time to go! Have fun! :D

All of the above. We've gone the first or second week of December the past 6 years. We've had days with highs in the low 50's and days with highs in the low 80's. Both extremes are rare, 70's are average. Humidity is low. Pack layers. Check the forecasts right before you leave. We had a trip where the high never got out of the mid 60's, didn't need shorts on that trip. Bring a light winter coat and gloves, it can get cold after dark. Another trip was high 70's/low 80's the entire time, in which case I took only a couple sweatshirts, mostly t-shirts and shorts and a spring jacket.

Warm in the day and at night you need a warm jacket...Best time to go in Dec.::yes::

We have now been 4 times at this time of the year. I highly recommend a jacket (light) and possibly jeans or slacks for the evening. I am from Indiana and it can get down right chilly in the evenings. In 2000 when we were there it got down to the low 40's.

Daytime can be cool in the mornings and I found myself taking shorts to the parks with me and changing later in the morning or early afternoon. We were in shorts for the taping of the Christmas Parade at MK this last year and liked to have frozen our butts off.

Hope this helps out. :wave2:

We fly in our 'cold weather' stuff...jeans, heavy socks, turtle necks, sweatshirts/jackets. Then when we get there we have the heavier stuff, but don't need to take up the room in our luggage. Only problem was, when we went (mid-Dec last year) it was really cold and my dd wore her jeans every day! I think those jeans could have walked home by themselves!!!

A fellow Wisconsinite weighing in on this topic....

I was there last November and it was in the upper 70s and low 80s during the day. At night we usually still had shorts on but maybe had a light jacket or sweatshirt on as well. It was very comfortable. Only one day of light rain.

Have a great time!
