Nov/Dec 2012 ADRs are Booked!! Thoughts? Opinions?

ADRs have been made!!! I had to be a little flexible on a few things, but overall I was SUPER satisfied!!

Without further ado, here are our dining plans!!


26th - Arrival/Resort Day
* B: None, flying in that morning
* L: Art of Animation Food Court
* D: California Grill 7:50 (Wishes at 8pm)

27th - Magic Kingdom & MVMCP
* B: Crystal Palace 8:20 (park opens at 9am)
* L: Tony's 12:30 (not 100% sold on this, still deciding if I want it)
* D: Hoping to make reservations for Be Our Guest

28th - Hollywood Studios
* B: Hollywood & Vine 8:25 (park opens at 9a)
* L: Sci-Fi 12:40
* D: Boma 9:10

29th - Epcot
* B: Kona Cafe 9:30
* L: Using snack credits for bakery in France
* D: Tutto Italia 7:30 (Illuminations at 9:30)

30th - Animal Kingdom
* B: In-room, food from home
* L: Yak & Yeti 12:00
* D: Ohana 8:15

1st - Resort Hopping Day
* B: Boma 9:30
* L: Whispering Canyon Cafe 1:20
* D: Narcoossee's 7:10

2nd - Epcot
* B: Chef Mickey's 8:25
* L: Hoping to make reservations for Coral Reef (won't open til July-ish, blocked now for CP packages)
* D: La Hacienda De San Angel 8:00 (Illuminations 9:30)

3rd - Magic Kingdom - BBB today at 10:20!!
* B: In-room food from home
* L: Need to book Cinderella's Royal Table as soon as package is used (need to prepay with dining plan).
* D: 1900 Park Fare 5:40 pm (Wishes 8pm)

4th - Animal Kingdom 1/2 day, DTD 1/2 day
* B: Tusker House 8:15
* L: ???? Quick Service at AK or maybe something at DTD?
* D: Raglan Road 8:00

5th - Magic Kingdom, Departure Day
* B: In-room food fro home
* L: Quick Service at MK
* D: Airport most likely... Will have a early evening flight.


I'm not 100% sold on Tony's Town Square. The menu looks good, but there are major mixed reviews.... We are already doing "real" Italian with Tutto Italia.... Not 100% sold on La Hacienda De San Angel either. My mom wants to try Chefs de France, but it's blocked from ADRs right now for the CP packages too. We may change La Hacienda to Chef's though when it opens. I also need to have a back up lunch in case CRT is full (HIGH possibility...)

Thoughts? Critiques? Ideas?

My mom wants to try Chefs de France, but it's blocked from ADRs right now for the CP packages too.

I got 6:50pm reservations that week at Chefs de France... maybe try again?

These look great by the way. We are doing a shorter trip than our last visit during this same time period 1) to splurge on a deluxe and 2) because school is in session - but I wish I had more days for more ADRs!

On the 27th, are you going back to the room for a nap? That could be a long day!

On the 4th you could eat at Flame Tree in AK for lunch. We have always enjoyed it.

Finally, on your last day (the 5th), will the food from home still be good? We like to end the visit with a bang, so we would eat somewhere big and good on the last day. I figure I will be cooking myself soon enough! Let someone else feed you big the last day there. If you are out of table service credits at that point, at the MK there is the Plaza which is a sit down meal with reservations required, but the food is good and not too expensive. We usually pay out of pocket for that one. It's like getting a really nice meal with counter service prices!

Overall, really good planning! I am hungry now, too! It looks like you are going to have a great time!

Yep, we are planning on a 3-4 hour break after lunch on the 27th. We'll return to MK for an early dinner and then the party!

I was looking at Flame Tree - we might try it!

As far as the last day, we want to maximize our last day park time which I why I picked a CS lunch at MK before our flight out. We also just bring cereal, pop tarts, granola bars, ect.. from home for in room breakfasts, so it will definitely still be good.

Yeah...there are just so many other great food choices...that I personally wouldn't want to risk a dining credit/OOP meal.
