does anyone know if there are any nights that are formal? I'm not sure what i should be bring for this trip. This is my first cruise.

No "formal" night, but one designated as "dress up" optional. Some people go all out, others not so much!

Hi-
We are interested in participating in the FE for the 3 day dream cruise on Nov 8. This is our first cruise but the FE came highly recommended from a friend. We are traveling with 33 people but right now I am only registering our cabin although I think at least two other cabins from our group will be contacting you. Please let me know what else I need to provide to you.
We are traveling with three children: a son Matthew7 yrs, a son Ryan 6 yrs and a daughter Lexi 4 yrs. Our cabin number is 10080. We are so excited about this. Any tips that you have would be very welcome! Please let me know if I need to do anything else to be added to the list. Thanks
Mindy

Got our cruise documents yesterday. Guess I need to book our flights and decide what we are doing for sure. Using an AX Companion Ticket and Jamie's college is messing me up since we have to fly together and she can't leave until 9 p.m. on Wed. night. Guess we are taking the red eye. Not my fav....

Jamie also has a friend that is a CM on the ship and he has put in a request to join our group for dinner. Not sure how he is going to swing that with his rotation in entertainment, but we will see what happens.....

Trying to get added to Fish Extenders group. Can someone help...I am a first timer and can not private message anyone cause I have not enough posts. I did post last night but know that time is running out to join. Thanks

Hi-
Not sure how to get added to your fish extender group. Very excited and don't want to miss cut off. I posted info under (Daddyto3) Thanks

Mindy - you made it! I do not have your husbands or S.O's name. Is he/she sailing with you?

We are getting closer folks - we have 18 cabins with 34 adults and 23 kids. Here are my thoughts - If we get 2 more cabins I will split it into two groups of 10 cabins each. This does NOT guarantee that the number of people will be even.

due to the location of the cabins - the break by deck will be decks (2 to 7) and (8 to 10)

I checked each cabins' location - forward or aft of the midship elevators (there is a new column on the spreadsheet showing this) and the count is VERY uneven. Only 5 cabins are forward of those elevators, thus the split will be by deck.

Does this work for everyone?

Mindy - please let me know ASAP about the other cabins. The cutoff is 10/8 for the FE exchange. I added your cabin but if there are others, please let us know. People are making items and will need time to get them completed before we sail.

As far as suggestions - most folks do a small gift that is Disney related somehow. On some of the longer cruises, folks will do things that are specific to their home area or country. My Fiance and I like to wander the ship late at night to do our gift distribution and look at the door decorations. Since this ship has three different "fish" that are actually a fish, seahorse and starfish the name FE is really a misnomer. You will need some type of container that can hang from your mail hook outside your door so folks can deliver your new treasures to you. Many people decorate their doors with magnets (no tape or glue allowed on the doors) from past cruises.

Glad you are sailing with us!

A big welcome to Katrina also!

Does anyone know of a website offering discounts on WDW Annual Passes? My company has the park & more tickets but is only offering a discount for FL residents on the Annual Pass. I'm not a DVC member (although I would lovvvvvvvvvvvve to beeeeeeeeee) I don't think I can take advanage of the discount I was reading about in a previous post. After my 3-day cruise I will be meeting with my cousin at her DVC for a week. My daughter's dance competition team was talking about attending Nationals in Orlando in June. I was considering purchasing an annual pass since I will be going back within a year's time frame.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Welcome to the group!

Thanks Cayla for your work on the FE list!

I broke down and bought airline tickets. We are flying out at 12:55 a.m. on Thursday morning the 8th arriving into MCO at 9:18 a.m. Guess we will take Disney's ME to the port.

Afterwards, we are headed to WDW and will stay Sunday night and fly out at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning so Jamie can get back to college.

At least we can hit the parks on Sunday and hopefully catch Illuminations that evening.

I will then be an official member of the "4321 Club".

Since we are crusing again from Galveston on December 15th, Jamie will end up being a member of the "3321 Club". I wonder if Michael can make a one of a kind shirt for her.....:rotfl:

Hi Linda!

We get into MCO at 9:19 and are taking Disney's transportation> I'll look for you and Jamie!

Cayla-
Thank you so much for adding us. My husband is sailing with us but I wasn't sure if the adults in our cabin were going to participate. I am not really sure what type of gifts the adults exchange? Any guidance you can give would be great. His name is Adam. Thanks again and I am not sure if my cousins are going to try to add.

Cayla-
Just checked google sheet am so excited to be on! Can you change the kids total because I have 2 boys and a girl and I think it says 2 girls and a boy.
Mindy

Just saw this message. I will encourage the others to make a decision soon. It is all new to us, but we are aware of deadline. If you end up splitting the group and all of our (family) cabins are close together is there anyway that we can swap with others that we do not know?
Mindy
