Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to share the pre cruise vacation.
Myself-37 Mom
DD-7
Well, 2004, we went on a DCL cruise and literally as we were waiting on the bus to go back to the airport, we decided to take another cruise, but I decided to go down a couple days early for a pre cruise trip.
Nov. 29, 2005-DD and myself get up way early 4:30am to travel 30 minutes from where we live to go to the Norfolk Va airport. I had printed out Southwest boarding passes the day before and security and luggage check was a breeze. I love non stop flights, so we arrive in Orlando and guess what? it is raining, but I was all ready expecting that, but still determined to go to Magic Kingdom. We go to the lower level and check in at the ME desk, once again, a breeze. An hour later, we were at the ASMO, our second time there. We had requested the Herbie section and our room was all ready at 11 am, so we just unloaded the carry ons, had lunch in the food court and by the time we did that, the rain was gone and off to Magic KIngdom. We arrive at MK and we all ready knew what we wanted to do. Well, I don't know if it was slow because the after thanksgivine time or the rain scared people off, but we were able to walk on Pirates, Small World, we had a few minutes wait on Haunted Mansion, and little longer on Dumbo just because their que line just seems small. We did Goofy's Barnstormer, DD's first roller coaster. We didnt worry about getting in lines for characters since we were going on the cruise. We just had ice cream there and did the rides we wanted and left around 4 pm and went back and had food at the food court at ASMO. We went to bed around 7 pm and then woke up at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep.
