Great! Thank you! We have a son who will be 10 at the time-Will he enjoy the Candlelight Processional- Or do you think he would be bored? I would like to see it.

Tracy: hopefully someone else knows the answer to that. This will be our first time going...and since it's just hubby and I, I never have to worry about what kids want to do.

I should say, our first time going at the holidays.

It's really hard to say. It's a big Christmas pageant with singing and a narrator reading the Christmas story. Woud he sit through a choir concert?

That being said, I really enjoyed it (even though it was pouring rain and only friends and family of the choir, orchestra etc. were allowed to sit under the covered seats). DH was bored, but knew how much I was looking forward to it- DS3.5 was with my IL's at WCC- he would never had sat through it.

:surfweb: This thread can't be dead yet!:listen: I need 9 months of comforting, trip chatter, and hand holding to get through the time.:rolleyes1

Ok I'll start---We are driving down and will get there during the day of the 24th so our first night we are staying at the ASMo. We aren't getting park tickets that day, we figured we'd hit the Disney Outlets and wander around, then go check out WL and maybe do Whispering Canyon for dinner. Then hit the sheets and move to WL in the morning. We like to do AK first to kind of get it over with. I have to say that it is not my favorite, but it's alright. I could hang out at MK or Epcot the whole time.

I cannot believe I am just now getting to this thread! This is cool!

Hello, my fellow Nov.25 - Dec. 2 friends!

As Tracy may remember (from the Nov. discount thread), I am also booked at the WL (MYW + dining). Tracy, after reading about your package price I decided to call and see if a std. view room was available for my dates. It was not, but I was able to book a std. view for Nov. 26 - Dec. 3, so I took it to save a couple hundred or so dollars. I will keep calling back (or checking online in the wee hours of the morning) to see if I can add the night of the 25th to my current package, but either way my DH, DD11 and I WILL be there with you during that week.:dance3:

I am SO excited about staying at the WL again!! DH and I fell in love with it on our first trip to WDW with our DD (she was 2-1/2 at the time). We were staying at the Contemporary and decided to boat over :boat: for a closer look. WHOA! We we were absolutely blown away. We have only been able to stay there one time in the past, but it was not actually in the Lodge. :( We rented DVC points from another DISboard member and stayed in a 2-BR villa with other family members. Still, it was like a dream come true. This year, our trip will not include extended family, and we're splurging to stay in the Lodge for 7 to 8 nights! :woohoo:

DISNEY FIX, you're going to love CBR! We stayed there on our last trip and really liked it a lot. It IS a huge resort, but it is so beautiful. Our room was very roomy, clean and comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat (unless, of course, I can afford the WL ;) ). I think I remember a post from you on the Nov. discounts thread. Didn't you say that you're booked through AAA? Our '05 CBR trip was booked through a great AAA agent in NC (or SC - don't remember which), and she was able to work magic for us that year. She got us free dining when that special came available. I just decided not to go with AAA this year because, well.....basically it's because I'm sort of anal. :rotfl: Seriously, I loved my AAA agent, she was a doll, and really AWESOME!! I just bugged her too much, that's all. I am normally so wishy-washy about things like trip dates, room views, special requests, etc. I like to tweak my packages often, a little too often for most TA's taste, so I have opted to forgo the slight discount through AAA and just book with WDWTC on my own. I don't mind bugging the crap out of them - they can just wish me to "Have a very Disney Day" all they want, and I won't even bat an eyelash.:hippie:

I am thinking that we may go to one weekday MVMCP and maybe one on the weekend too - but only IF they are taping the Christmas parade that weekend. DD SO hopes to see some of the Disney Channel stars. She would have killed to have been there last year when the High School Musical stars were appearing. (Ashley Tisdale is one of her favorites.) I don't know what I'm in for or even if it is possible to get an up-close view of the parade during the taping, but I have already promised to at least give it a try. DD says that she understands that it might not work out, even if we are in the park on the day of the taping; however, I can tell that she is REALLY "wishing on a star" for this to work out. We shall see....we shall see....

I do not care if DD will be bored or not - WE ARE GOING TO THE CP in Epcot! (Sorry....she's standing right beside me, so I naturally transitioned into "lecture mode.") ;) We have attended the CP 2 times in the past, but DD wasn't old enough to remember either time. James Avery was our guest speaker, and he did such a good job. (Great speaking voice.) The choirs and orchestra are to die for! Needless to say, this is a must-not-miss event for me.

Man, just talking about all this holiday-at-WDW stuff makes me ready to get down to the serious planning. So....what ADRs are you all planning? (It's still ADR and not PS, right? I've slept a lot since my last trip, so I may be out of the loop on the dining terms now.):rolleyes1

Diane take a breath, please..:)

I made ressies at the Poly Hawaii Bldg. MK view. ADR's are still up in air, we will be going to :santa: 2 MVMCP:santa: probably the monday + thursday. I don't want to be around the MK during x-mas taping, ZOOOOOO. CP sounds great did DD sit still or not?
As far as AAA, My regular TA (who goes to disney 4X a year) got me the room rate an we might get AP's since we are going 2X (Sept. 12th -16th MNSSHP) this year. So we are holding out hope for AP rate.:rolleyes1

Diane - Mind if I ask what kind of rate you got? You didn't have to pay more did you?

She told me she got a special code and that Disney is paying her to show up. Just kidding, I don't want to start a stampede.:dance3:
