I cannot believe I am just now getting to this thread! This is cool!
Hello, my fellow Nov.25 - Dec. 2 friends!
As Tracy may remember (from the Nov. discount thread), I am also booked at the WL (MYW + dining). Tracy, after reading about your package price I decided to call and see if a std. view room was available for my dates. It was not, but I was able to book a std. view for Nov. 26 - Dec. 3, so I took it to save a couple hundred or so dollars. I will keep calling back (or checking online in the wee hours of the morning) to see if I can add the night of the 25th to my current package, but either way my DH, DD11 and I WILL be there with you during that week.
I am SO excited about staying at the WL again!! DH and I fell in love with it on our first trip to WDW with our DD (she was 2-1/2 at the time). We were staying at the Contemporary and decided to boat over

for a closer look. WHOA!

We we were absolutely blown away. We have only been able to stay there one time in the past, but it was not actually
in the Lodge.

We rented DVC points from another DISboard member and stayed in a 2-BR villa with other family members. Still, it was like a dream come true. This year, our trip will not include extended family, and we're splurging to stay in the Lodge for 7 to 8 nights!
DISNEY FIX, you're going to love CBR! We stayed there on our last trip and really liked it
a lot. It IS a huge resort, but it is so beautiful. Our room was very roomy, clean and comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat (unless, of course, I can afford the WL

). I think I remember a post from you on the Nov. discounts thread. Didn't you say that you're booked through AAA? Our '05 CBR trip was booked through a great AAA agent in NC (or SC - don't remember which), and she was able to work magic for us that year. She got us
free dining when that special came available. I just decided not to go with AAA this year because, well.....basically it's because I'm sort of anal.

Seriously, I loved my AAA agent, she was a doll, and really AWESOME!! I just bugged her too much, that's all. I am normally so wishy-washy about things like trip dates, room views, special requests, etc. I like to
tweak my packages often, a little too often for most TA's taste, so I have opted to forgo the slight discount through AAA and just book with WDWTC on my own. I don't mind bugging the crap out of them - they can just wish me to "Have a very Disney Day" all they want, and I won't even bat an eyelash.
I am thinking that we may go to one weekday
MVMCP and maybe one on the weekend too - but only IF they are taping the Christmas parade that weekend. DD SO hopes to see some of the Disney Channel stars. She would have killed to have been there last year when the High School Musical stars were appearing. (Ashley Tisdale is one of her favorites.) I don't know what I'm in for or even if it is possible to get an up-close view of the parade during the taping, but I have already promised to at least give it a try. DD
says that she understands that it might not work out, even if we are in the park on the day of the taping; however, I can tell that she is REALLY "wishing on a star" for this to work out.
We shall see....we shall see....
I do not care if DD will be bored or not -
WE ARE GOING TO THE CP in Epcot! (Sorry....she's standing right beside me, so I naturally transitioned into "lecture mode.")

We have attended the CP 2 times in the past, but DD wasn't old enough to remember either time. James Avery was our guest speaker, and he did such a good job. (Great speaking voice.) The choirs and orchestra are to die for! Needless to say, this is a must-not-miss event for me.
Man, just
talking about all this holiday-at-WDW stuff makes me ready to get down to the serious planning. So....what ADRs are you all planning? (It's still ADR and not PS, right? I've slept a lot since my last trip, so I may be out of the loop on the dining terms now.)
