I would love to get to know others on this trip. I know its a long way off. I'm traveling with a group of 9. My in-laws, my sister inlaw her husban, and daughter, then there is my hubby and two girls. They are very excited.

I have added your thread to the 2011 Wonder Cruise Meet list :thumbsup2

I would like to start to get to know people who will be on this cruise, and also get togeather to do fish extender exchanges.

Really hoping that people join. Maybe i'm just to early. This my first cruise, and really my first vacation in years and I'm just a littel excited. If your going on this curise please join the thread.

We are traveling with family :grouphug:on this Nov. 20, 2011. I am already excited and am starting to do some of the preliminary planning. I already got the mickey paint chips cut out and ready for the doors. We are a family of 4, DS15,:cool1: DD12:cheer2::, and BIL and SIL with their 2 children DS-8, DD-3. This will be their first disney cruise, our 5th. We are SOOO Excited and can't wait. Trying to plan and hang out on the DISboards to keep busy until then.

We are now traveling with a group of 10. We just learned we are pregnant (8 years post vasectomy surprise). We will have a 1 year old little boy at the time of the cruise, and are also taking along a nephew (18).

Will somebody be planning a Fish Extender List as time gets closer?

Omg, Yes I'm not alone....my hubby and two daughters ages when we go are 12 and 9. This is our first cruise. My sister in law and her husban and daughter will be going as well. We are very excited. And I'm already making magnet design for our door. My husban thinks I'm crazy to start this early. Oh well. Welcome to the group...Marie

Hello to everyone in this group. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Monica and I live in Mazatlan, Sinaloa Mexico. For anyone on a future Disney cruise to the Mexican Riviera, I am pleased to make myself available to you for any questions about the city of Mazatlan or country of Mexico.

As for myself, I am a resident of both the United States and of Mexico. I speak both English and Spanish fluently and I have sailed on DCL numerous times and have been a lifelong fan of Disney. Let me say right upfront, I am NOT selling anything nor am I affiliated with any business or tour company. I am only here to help and give honest information and opinions in an attempt to make your time in Mazatlan or Mexico a positive experience.

I hope that everyone will welcome me to the discussion and that I can be of assistance to anyone who has a question about my city or country. I will attempt to check the boards once per day, but should I miss a question, please do not hesitate to send me a private message. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Gracias,
Monica

I have almost finished sewing our fish extenders. Just have to add the decorations and final touches.

We are finished sewing our fish extenders and decorating them. We got our paper confirmations last week, with our room numbers on them. It is beginning to feel like it is not as far away, even though it is still 1 year and 1/2 away. I can't wait until Disney gets the excursions ready online. I want to find out what is going to be available through DCL.

I also made our tip envelopes and got them ready too. I want to do as much planning as possible before the baby comes, because I remember they take up a lot of time and planning will probably take a backseat once our little one arrives. 22 weeks...only 18 weeks left (he is due in Nov.) :laundy:

Hello!

We just booked this cruise. We are DW (me), DH, DS (9 in 2011) and DS (4 in 2011). Have only cruised the Bahamas via DCL and RCL but have not gone to Mexico. We are still deciding whether to keep this ressie or move it to a 5 day double dip when the 2012 prices come out. But looking forward to a cruise either way :cool1:

Has anyone been on a Mexico cruise? Are the excursion mostly beach and sea life based (i.e. dolphins, sting ray, laying out at the beach) or do they also have some type of in land adventure (going into town, shopping, touring, etc.). We are interested in hanging out at beaches but also seeing the sights.

I have not been to Mexico, infact this is my first cruise. My hubby is the only one to have cruised and that was when he was 18...and lests just say he is no way near 18 anymore...:rolleyes1. As for myself, I cant wait.

We're in on this cruise now. It'll be me 53, DW 50 ( ouch) and DD 16.

I did the first eastbound repo on the Magic so I've been down here before - but that trip was snakebit weather wise - 3 hurricanes during the 2 weeks and we actually missed one of them!

We stopped in Manzanillo, due to the 30 ft waves, 75 mph winds in Cabo, etc - not recommended and again in Acapulco - which was a lot of fun.

Hopefully some more cruisers will find this thread soon!

We were going to go on the 4/3 /11 cruise, but some work things came up preventing us from going...

two daughters ages when we go are 12 and 9. This is our first cruise. ...Marie

We were just discussing the cruise, and my daughter was asking if either of your daughers would be her age (12). I told her I would check to see if you listed her age. My daughter is going to be so excited because they will be the same age.

When my daughter found out there was another 12 yr old she was excited last night. I'm sure she would love to get to know your daughter.

I'm really hoping for more people to join. I have noticed more rooms have opened up on this cruise. I hope it's not to empty, I'd hate for the cruise to cancel. Sooooo, I'm making some of my FE gifts, and I'd like to get a better head count. Anyone else like to join.....

This will be DCL cruise #2 for us. We did the 5-day Caribbean cruise in August of 2010. Traveling will be me, DW, DS (26), DD (31), and DGS (10). My daughter's birthday is on the 19th and my wife's birthday is on the 20th of November. I had seen these, what I now know as FE's, on the ship in August and noticed people with lists and bags of goodies dropping them off and had no idea what it was. We will be traveling in 2 rooms and I guess we will also be working on getting/making FE's for each room.

This is gonna be great.

Hopefully more Dis'ers will join the cruise & the thread - been kinda quiet so far.....
