You are correct- FD was not offered during Jersey week last year. BUT it was offered the Thursday before...so my flight was full of families that took Friday off in order to check in Thursday and get FD for the entire time. Halloween happened to fall on the Sun of the first day of Jersey week last year, too.

Add me to the list of those looking for some type of discount in Nov.!!! I am a DVC'er but don't have any points left so I need a discount!. I thought our Nov trips were over until I got the school calendar yesterday for 2011/2012 and the 2nd week of Nov they have 2 days off. So, I think missing 3 days of school isn't so bad!. Hopefully I can convince my DH!

I keep getting pins but not for my dates! And I can't move my dates back because it's my wedding! Does anyone know if there have been pins for the first week of November in the past? I don't get it, being that it's not really a holiday.

Hope you don't mind me asking but, why aren't you using the DFTW room discount? When we had our vow renewal in Nov 2009 we got the free one night stay at the GF. Then we were able to use the 40% off discount there for the rest of the week. We picked that resort along with 2 others for our guests and they offered great discounts!

Well unfortunately because of our budget we aren't staying at a Deluxe. We are staying at CSR so the discount is not as great as the GP populations. Also I would like my guests to be able to save a little bit more as well. I'm still waiting for the AP discounts as well.

Not sure if this is absolute but what I did was I registered on the WDW website and than under vacations I saved some itineraries. HTH. Good luck getting a pin.

The only things that I know have worked in the past are:

- ORder a planning DVD to a name/address that isn't registered in the system.
- Go on-line and plan out an itinerary (again using a never-before-used name/e-mail is preferable), but DON'T book/make reservation/pay deposit.

Neither of these are guaranteed to work. They work sometimes, not always.

We got on the PIN list many years ago, but have never used the PINs (because we keep end up getting better GP deals), but they keep sending them to us.

I got a pin code! I just booked our trip for the week after T-giving with a 40% off code. It's not free dining but it was a heck of a savings AND it'll save me some calories!!!

That's when we are going! How do you get a pin code? We are booking in the next few weeks. I have never gotten a code and we have gone many times.

So now We are officially going to Disney in November! I just called and booked and put a good size hunk of money down! I am so excited! This is actually our first time staying on site with kids. The last time was 12 years ago when we stayed at CBR. I just can't wait! COME ON NOVEMBER!

Trying to wait until, a code comes out to book. I've read the more booked the resorts are during a certain period, the less likely they'll come out with a code during that time.

We saved $500 with the room discount. We would save $2000 with FD. I booked anyway because the payments will be spread out a little more! I know your dilemma.
