So we got the okay to go, next year, but I am trying to weigh my options it would it be better to go first week of nov. veterans day falls on that Fri. or the last week of March 2007, :confused3 can any one let me in on the crowds and weather, our last 3 trips have been in Oct. 1st week, the 2nd week and the 3rd week, last year, and I remember last year storms every day, hot and humid close to 90, the first couple of weeks in Oct were hot but not as hot as last year, please tell me the humidty goes way down in Oct. :woohoo: :woohoo:

March 2007 will have heavier than usual spring break crowds because of the early date of Easter. This means school systems that plan their spring breaks around Easter will be off then, in addition to systems that take that time of regardless of the holiday. I would think early NOvember would be a better choice.

We were there Thanksgiving week 2 years ago and the weather was awesome. Low humidity, cooler temps. I just don't know about how it would be 2-3 weeks earlier. :confused3

From all accounts I've read, November would be the better time to go (and it's SOONER!) :cool1:

We will be there first week of Nov. Its got to be better than spring break.

We'll be there that same week (the 3rd through the 11th). You'll fall right between MNSSHP and MVMCP so I'm expecting the crowds to be relatively light, as most people will probably try to overlap a major party. That second weekend is also Soap Opera Weekend at MGM, so keep that in mind as well, as it will affect crowds pretty heavy for that park and may make booking at the monorail resorts tough.

I'll be there in November, Saturday the 4th through Friday the 10th.

Keep in mind that that week, especially Thursday the 9th through Sunday the 12th, is unofficially known as "Jersey Week." That's because ALL schools in New Jersey are closed on that Thursday and Friday (this year, the 9th and 10th) for a statewide teachers conference. It is VERY common for people in NJ to hop down to WDW for a few days, or for people like me to take their kids out of school that entire week to get a jump on things (there are also A LOT of substitute teachers working that short week, as teachers often take the early part of that week in order to have a long vacation for only a few days of vacation time).

From what I hear, it gets pretty crowded on that Friday and Saturday of that week every year.
