Nov. 2005, Who's going, and waiting for Park Hours

Silly me- I thought that they always were fairly early closings in Nov except for Epcot which would be just after the fireworks. We will be down for Jersey Week Nov 7th and spend a few days in the parks before going on the 3 day cruise. Ill really be interested to see the hours because it might make a difference as to we will leave mid day for a rest time for the little ones or just stay if the closings are early. Thats why I really love these boards. Always something to learn!

Just a wild guess here - maybe the hours are released on the first Friday of the month? Sept. hours were released on Friday July 1 and Oct. hours were released on Friday August 5. What do you think? Maybe tomorrow is the day??!!
BTW, we are going 11/7 - 11/12 - 2 bed BWV. We're not from NJ, but my son has 11/10 and 11/11 off from school.

I agree. I think park hours should be posted 90 days out; the same as most ADR's can be made. I had to make my ADR's in early August and just hope it will coincide with EMH/Park hours. I think this is a problem that Disney needs to address. Especially when travel times coincide with special events like Food & Wine Festival, etc.

Our trip is 11/9-11/13. DH will be in Orlando for a conference 11/6-11/9 (yeah, I get to go!!!) and then my parents, 2 DD and DS will be descending on 11/9 for a family Disney visit. Can't wait BUT I NEED THOSE PARK HOURS!!!

I guess I missed your post!! I called WDW-Play this am, and the CM told me that he doesn't expect the Nov. hours to be out until late next week - ugh!!
I booked a Wishes Cruise for Wed. 11/9 (based on the wdw.info site which showed Wishes on Wed. evenings in October). Is there an official Disney site that gives firework/parade times?

(I have to admit I feel a bit self-indulgent worrying about this when thousands of people are in such desperation. My prayers are with each one of them.)

CMs can be very helpful, but often they are wrong about things like park hours. I've seen posts on these boards that say CMs say the hours will be out the next day but it takes a few more days. I've also seen posts like yours but then the hours come out later that day! So don't give up yet...although if the hours are not out by early afternoon I'd say today is not the day!

The official Disney website will post fireworks and parades when the park hours are posted (or slightly after).
