As I posted yesterday, I was thinking of keeping the list together since it stopped right at 25..Hope everyone is ok with this! I also want to let everyone know that if any one else wants to join, they will be informed that the list is closed, if people have extras, they are welcome to give it, but as of today, I will not add anymore names! Thanks so much!



Have we decided on a meet up on the first day? Maybe sometime around 3 or 330? Atrium lobby by the main stairway?? Let me know!


The count I have below is for the total group, including all families, if you dont plan on leaving anything for your own family((who does that anyways?!?!?!?!? LOL)) Just take that number of people from the total count..

Here is the count:

22 adult males
26 adult females

10 boys(9-18)
14 girls(9-18)

8 boys (under 8)
8 girls (under 8)

And for the people who may feel a bit overwhelmed, please remember, this is a FUN activity! Give gifts as you see fit! There are no set rules in gift giving, last year we gave a gift to EVERYONE on the list, this year we are doing 1 per cabin. Please dont feel like you have to give a certain gift or that it has to be perfect, whatever you decide to give is great! I truly cant wait to meet everyone, being apart of the DIS is a great way to meet people and possibly have friendships that blossom around a great center, DISNEY!

I'm fine with keeping it together. I still have to PM you our cabin number. I keep getting it mixed up with the first leg. I don't have the same cabin. First leg will just be my BF and I and last leg is the whole family in a Deluxe Family stateroom.

One thing to remember, candy sold outside of the theaters and shows is not free. Since our cruise is right after Halloween, a low priced FE gift could be a candy (purchased for 1/2 price after Halloween). We have seen this done on past cruises.

By the way, in case this should be done -- do we have anybody on our FE list that has a nut allergy?

Well, I'm off to bed, I was working on the list with cabin numbers so I could have it done Sunday as I promised! I just wanted to share my excitement...We leave in less then 20 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We usually take 2 vacations a year but my husband saved ALL his vacation for this trip! We will be on vacation Nov 3-23!!!!

I sent an email to them but if I dont hear back by Friday, I will send out a list and keep their name on until we get closer! I cant keep ALL the eager DISer's waiting for their list!!

Since this is the first time we'll be participating in FE, I have a question. I saw a recommendation somewhere on the disboards to bring a zip tie to attach the FE to the fish so that the FE "doesn't go swimming and lose its way home." Is this standard practice or was it just as a peace of mind thing?

If I do this, I'll need to remember to bring a good pair of fingernail clippers or something in order to cut it off when the cruise is over. Thanks for your thoughts!

It is pretty much standard practice. I'm even going to try the jingle bells on the back of mine this time to see if it will keep it from walking away. I hope that helps!

Thanks so much! I am only waiting on two more rooms! The issue I'm having is one of the families I'm waiting for hasn't been on the boards since Jan. and I'm not sure if they are still going to join in! I might go ahead and send out the list once I get the last "active" member's room! lol

Has anyone started packing yet? I can't believe our cruise is almost here!

My 9 year old daughter and I went to the Disney Store last week and she picked out her very own red-sparkly Minnie Mouse bag for her trip! Lil' Ms E is ready for her vacation!

It's just us two traveling again for our 2nd DCL Cruise to the Bahamas, so I know she's looking forward to meeting kids her age on this cruise!

Looking forward to hopefully meeting all of you around 3:30 in the Atrium Lobby! We'll have our Mickey ears on with huge smiles on our faces! Oh, wait...that will be YOU TOO!

OK,....I'm a little embarrased to say that I still haven't made or purchased a Fish Extender! Does anyone have any ideas on where I can buy something that would "look like' one, or even resemble one, or....oh goo'ness! I'm lost!! LOL

I'm not typically a procrastinator, but this one item has been in my thoughts for some time and I've been on the lookout ever since I purchased my cruise!

Should I just jump on Ebay?? Advice and suggestions welcome to this busy single working Mom!

I bought ours on Ebay a couple of weeks ago, but told the person making it we didn't need it until Nov 16, so I'm sure we'll have it by then. But the point is, it may take a while for someone to make it for you, so if you buy it off Ebay, contact them with a message before you purchase to make sure they can get it made and to you before leave for our cruise. Also, if you google "Fish Extenders" you can see lots of pictures of ones people have made themselves - they could just be a couple of small bags attached to each other - and some people say they are easy enough to make yourself, but like you, I've got no extra time on my hands. Good luck!!

At least we have Halloween in the middle of our countdown to the cruise, this should us busy! Our DS was simba last year..

AND, lucky for him(and our wallets) it still fits this year! Since he didnt go trick or treating last year, it's still kinda new, right?

I have started packing, well, this is what I have done:

I know, its pretty bad, but at least there's stuff in them...right? lol
We leave in 16 days and I feel like i may pee my pants with excitement everytime I think about the trip!!((a little too much info?? Not too bad for the DIS!))

He's such a cutie pie! I love his Simba costume! Our kids will be R2D2 and Princess Leia this year ... assuming I get around to sewing the princess's gown. Its currently held together with straight pins.

Thanks! That was last year and he sat in there chair for over an hour, he really thought that whole bowl of trick or treat fruit roll ups were his! And I actutally got that custome at the goodwill for $2.00! I could post pics all day of that little guy

If you need your disney fill this week, here is his birthday cake I made for his 3rd bday party in August, I must say, for my first time using Fondant, I shouldn't have went so big!!

Did we decide what time and place we would all get together? Can't wait to meet you all! Did you all get on and choose your port arrival time? It's new: you have to choose your port arrival time online and have that info. with you to be let into the terminal. It should print up on your signature form.

AWESOME CAKE!!! Thats quite a deal you got on the costume!!! Thats the way to go!!! Your son is TOO CUTE!!! Such a sweet smile!!! Is he getting excited for vacation too??? I know my kids are excited but it seems like I'm more excited than them...
