I can't wait...I live in PA a swing state we are being bombarded worse now then ever.....Mrs. Bush called my house today...

I'm thinking of adding a countdown timer until the election....I'm sick of the phone calls, sick of the aweful TV ads, just fed up....

My SIL lives in GA and says they aren't getting any presidental ads down there.....we get one at least every 5-7 mins...with a local ad about every 45 seconds...it is out rageous.....

At least we have elections. However, it would be nice if all outbound campaigning was limited to the month before the election.

I'm glad we have elections....I pretty much vote every election...national or not...but it has gotten soooo out of hand.....it is annoying....makes you not want to vote for someone because of the harassment....

Indiana is very quite concerning the Presidential election. I guess that is a good thing because my phone does not ring, and my tv does not have ads.

My wife, daughter, and I just returned from WDW last week. I noticed a ton of political ads on TV down there. It seemed like 7 of every 10 ads was some sort of political ad, whether it was for the presidential election or senatorial. I could not believe how many in comparison to CT. We have two senatorial campaigns going on here. The one thing I did notice was that the Democrat senatorial ads down in Orlando were identical to the ones here. The same exact message, just change the name and video.

OH MAAAAANNNNNNN! I didn't get one either. The only call I got was from James Earl Jones a couple months ago regarding my phone service. He has a great voice.

Would have loved to have gotten one from Laura though. The pollsters don't call me either. Oh well. Guess I don't rank as high as you Zurgswife.

I don't even live in a swing state and I've really had it up to here with political ads. Presidential, local, all of them. At this point, the ads are so nasty, I really doubt anyone is going to be swayed by them anyway.

Zurgswife-- MN is a swing state too and we have exactly the same thing! TV ads up the wazoo! Radio ads and this week I kid you not half my mail has been political ads.

And this week, Kerry and Bush and people from their camps are in MN I think every day through Saturday.

Can't wait for election day.

I live in a swing state, but my phone number is unlisted and I don't give it out to anyone! No phone calls, but I made a bunch today to the fine citizens of Lodi, WI .

The ads have been out of control here for months. There are now more political ads than car ads!

Oh boy, I feel for you!!! Living in Ohio, we get the exact same thing. We have been screening all of our calls for the last couple of months with caller ID. If we don't recognize the number, we won't answer it. Not to mention all the wonderful commercials on TV (at least 4 of 5 are always political) or the junk we get in the mail. I cannot wait for next week to come so this will all end!!!!!
