Anyone else freaking out about the millions of things that still need to be done before the trip? I still need to do so much and can't seem to find the time to do it.

Yes, I am!!! I just don't have the time to get any of it done. I keep thinking do we have enough nice clothes, should I buy more, It keeps going on and on.

I don't know what to do about dress up night I've looked everywhere and it's all winter stuff out now. The girls need dresses. I'm thinking I might have to pay an arm and a leg and have someone on Etsy make them one.

We didn't really dress up dress up for our first cruise, not a lot were on the 4 night one. DD and I just wore a simple skirt and top, Dh and the boys wore beige pants and button up shirts. So don't fret if you can't find something. They just recommend no jeans or shorts. But if you are really wanting to really dress up, I understand your worry! What about Ebay?
I've got DH's Pirate costume all done! It looks awesome! Going to start DS16's tonight, then the other two boys, and lastly mine. DD18 can make her own, but getting her started on it is like pulling teeth. She's a huge procrastinater! If I get two costumes made a week, then I"m not rushing and they will all be done in 3 weeks, which fits nicely with my timeline!

Wow I wish I had your motivation. I can sew, not seamstress quality but I did make my one dd's halloween costume the last two years and she won first place in the towns costume contest both times. So not too horrible. I just don't have it in me for some reason. I can't even get motivated to do the fish extender and that should be pretty easy. With the baby interupting every 10 minutes it's hard to get anything done so I've just been buying everything this year. We aren't planning on getting super dressed up but I did want to look kinda uniformed so we can get pics. DH will probably wear tan pants, black shirt, and mickey tie. Me and my mom black pants or capris and a red shirt, and I found some outfits for the girls on etsy that I want to get that ranged from $30-40 (not horrible but when you have to get 3 of them it adds up) they would all 3 match but be slightly different (all black and white polka dot with red accents), then dd 16yo will get a black coctail type dress. If all goes as plan that is. It's getting kinda late to be custom ordering stuff so hopefully they can do it. If not I guess I'll have to get my sewing machine out. I think us older folks will just wear pirate tshirts for pirate night I just really don't want to have to worry about that too.

Disneynewbee We will be making our FE next week. I do have enough fabric for two. Would you like me to (I"d be more than happy to), make one for your family? Your family is the same number of people as mine, so it would be easy to throw two together at the same time. I can pm you pics of the fabric if you'd like (VERY Colorful!) and the plan is to put an iron on black mickey head with each persons names on the front centre of each pocket. The girls will have minnie heads (mickey with a bow) and the boys, just the plane black Mickey heads, one pocket for mom and dad so that pocket will have two smaller mickey heads on it.

Her dh just left for 6 months for military training so it will give her something to do while he's gone and give us some time together. I appriciate your offer though. I was hoping you could do a door magnet for me though. For Julianna's birthday I wanted to see if you could do a cheerleading minnie in a red, silver, and black uniform and put Julianna is 7 today. I have the cheerleader image that someone made me a while back but at the time I had them make her uniform purple and green. My dd changed squads and now her colors are red, silver, and black so I don't know if you could change those if I posted the image. Her squad is Raptors too if you could put that on the uniform. If you can't just let me know and I can try to look up the person who did the origional image for me to do it. Thanks.

Hi all,

This will be our first Disney cruise, our second cruise overall (Crown Princess 2008) me 46 (mom) and two girls 9 & 11. It will be both my birthday and one of my 9 year olds birthday on the cruise.

The FEs, I've seen some beautiful ones, though luckily for me I can buy one on Ebay because I am completely skillless at crafts, one question, who fills them with little gifts?

Any suggestions for me as a first time DC'er? I've signed the kids up for the camp, and am planning on doing the Dolphin swim at Blue Lagoon. Anyone have any comments, good or bad, about Aquaventure for the afternoon? I've tried on the main board to get some comments, so far only one.

Hi there, WELCOME to your cruise meets board! I will add the 3 of you to the FE exchange, it's building! Watch for the update I will post it shortly.

I would tell you what I was putting in FE's but then that would ruin the surprise, SOooooo, what can I suggest? Some people make things, like magnets (great ones can be found or a new disign requested, on the "cruise magnets and graphics Links" Board. They can be done up for you and all you have to do is print onto magnetic paper you feed through your printer, or print on cardstock then laminate and attach sticky magent strips to the backs. Other suggestions are something small from your own hometown or area. Small trinkets or candy. The dollar stores are great places for FE Gifts. Ours has lots of Disney related items. There is another thread somewhere with suggestions, even sample photos of FE gifts that others have Made or purchased.
Anyway, I will add you and your girls and post an update to the exchange list.
Can you pm me your girls names and stateroom number (if you know that yet). I will be getting a list of that out the participants within the next week two or 3 weeks (TIME IS FLYING!).

Thanks! Also I forgot what we decided with the fish extenders. I think it was that me, dh, and all 4 kids would be listed with my room and my mom with her own room right? So I will be making her a 1 person fish extender and me a 6 person.

For those of you doing WDW prior to the cruise, is anyone interested in a late lunch at Le Cellier in Epcot on the 29th? I'm giving it up but thought I'd wait and see if someone else here or on the Dining board would like it, then we can co-ordianate the cancel and re booking between us. Le Cellier is a Hard to Get ADR! I have not been able to book a dinner there since 90 days out, and currently, you can't book lunch or dinner at all on the 29th (mostly likely not the other days as well). We've booked a dinner at Les Chef Des France, so don't need the late lunch anymore.
