Well I'm a loser. I started the thread and had to cancel our cruise. :( Hope you guys have fun!

Good news now tho is, we were able to REbook a few weeks later. So we get to cruise, just not on the 1st.

Have a good one! Leave the Wonder in seafaring shape for the rest of us cruising after you. :) I know, it's a lot to ask. Just try. I won't hate you if you don't. :rotfl:

We will be on this cruise too. We are doing the 3 day land/4 day sea package. This is our first Disney Cruise. I can't wait!

YAY!!! Another victi...um, buddy! ;) We're doing the same package but HAVE to add a few days on up front. 3 days on land is WAY too few. Of course, 4 on sea probably is too. :goodvibes

We thought it was too, but it's going to be our honeymoon and thought we would make the most out of the time we can get away. I love going on cruises and always wanted to go to WDW, so we booked it this way to get to experience both.

I've never done a cruise.Doing it solo so far... I'm also going to do one day in the parks before the cruise and 3 days after ... will have 4 days left on tickets from a trip to WDW this year!!!

We have just changed our reservation to this cruise (after booking our initial cruise we found out we were expecting another little bundle, so needed to change the dates).

This is our first ever cruise and we are very excited.

We will be staying in Orlando for the 14 days prior to the cruise. Figure because we are coming all the way from Australia, we may as well stay for as long as possible.

Congrats on the new baby!!!

Thankyou! I am not sure about the long haul flight with a 9 month old, but at least we have something to look forward to when we get there.

Booking this cruise in the near future...will be attending my sister's wedding on the cruise! Look out for us, we're too much fun! My first Cruise ever and am looking forward to it. Will be bringing my almost 4yo daughter.

Mrs. JD,
Thank you for using your very first post to announce that you will be at my wedding!:bride: :cool1: :beach: :jumping1:

We just booked this cruise - we are a family of five - mom (me), dad, DS (10), DS (7), and DD (5). We'll be heading to Disney afterwards. It's our first cruise since our oldest was 1 and our first Disney cruise.

Welcome. Ketchup!!! I have been waiting for someone else to join our little Fall Fest Cruise. pirate: :rotfl:

I just wanted to let you guys know what you are in for on this Cruise...;)

I have already told you that this is my Wedding Cruise. Our group will be about 20 family members. We are what you would call... well, you know those people that you just keep running into everywhere you go on your cruise? That will be us:grouphug:

The best part of all is this. Mrs. JD and I are sisters who are both completely obsessed with the Dis Boards at this point:disrocks: I am the oldest (35):bride: and she is 3 years younger. I live in West Virginia and she has moved to Wisconsin. We are ALWAYS having withdraw from each other and cant wait to meet up on the Disney Wonder.

Be sure to find us, because we will be where the fun is!!:jumping1: :mickeyjum

First-Congrats on the wedding Birdrav! How exciting!! We always stay at the Poly and have seen so many beautiful brides there!

We will be booking this cruise in the very near future! We will also be doing land/sea, though I haven't decided how to book that yet.

"We" includes 7 altogether:myself, dh, ds 14, my oldest step-son, his wife, and their children who will be 5 and 7.

This will be everyone's first Disney cruise  We'll be celebrating lots of bdays my ds will be 15 on 11/2 and 3 more of us are November babies and since we can't cruise for the whole month(I wish), we are going to live it up while we are there. Since this year will be my last "official" bday, I'll be celebrating the 1st anniversary of my 39th bday on this cruise ;)

Can't wait :cool1:

Birdrav...thanks for the shout out! And I fully agree that these people cruising with us have no idea what they are in for! I only hope that we can enhance their vacation rather than have them walk away saying "ugh, remember those crazy wedding hill-billies?!" LOL:scared:

Snow White...I thought you might be my mom, as all of girls have alter-princesses. The 5 year old that will be cruising with you...boy or girl? My DD will be almost 4 at cruise time.

Birdrav = Cinderella...the essential Disney princess :bride:
Birdrav DD= jasmine ...exotic beauty with a flare
MrsJD= Belle... odd ball in love with a beast
MrsJD DD = Ariel ... young curious sweetie
Mom/G-maw = Snow White ... old school and somewhat hmmmm?

Hi Snow White!

I am glad to hear that you have a teenager with you. My DD will be 15 by the time we cruise. :cutie: She will be happy to hear it to. She wanted to take a friend, but I don't see that happening. We knew she would make friends on the ship. We cruised when she was 8 years old and she quickly befriended a Canadian little girl that only spoke french, and they were together all 4 days! The language barrier did not deter them at all.

That's too funny about your last " official" birthday. :rotfl2:

MrsJD- Our 5 year old is a boy, the 7 year old is a girl. And they will actually be closer to 6 and 8, they both have bdays in November. I'm just hoping he grows some, this year was his first trip at MK and he was tall enough to ride Splash which he loved, and Big Thunder which scared him, but he played off very good. At Space he was 2" too short-I sat with him while everyone else rode and his heart was so broke. He made his "Mimi"(that's me :) ) promise to bring him back so he can ride.

And sorry I'm not your Mom :rotfl: I have loved Snow White from the time I was a little girl, but truthfully I'm more of a Belle myself ;)

Birdrav-I was hoping there would be plenty of teens on board. DS is not going to want to hang out with the little ones and taking a friend is out of the question for us also, though that would be great. He never has problems making friends though when we go on vacation. We always take a mid day break and he heads to the pool and he has made so many friends over the years that way.

I'm curious what your screen name means?

OH BTW- I won't be afraid of any of you "hillbillies" we're from Kentucky so when we see you we'll feel at home :rotfl2:

My real name is Bridgette, but when I was 4 years old I had a shirt with my name on the back and a cartoon bird on the front. So to my family and (some)friends I am BIRD.:rolleyes2

My daughters middle name is Raven so I shortened it and I am now Birdrav.

I heard it on the radio last week that it is now politically incorrect to call us Hillbillys now. We are officially... are you ready for this?!?
Appalachian Americans!:lmao:
