We will also be attending MNSSHP on the 31st!!! My DD is going to be alice, and my DS the mad hatter (sort of, he is almost 12 and did want to go all the way with the costume). Not sure if the DH and I will dress up or not. Was possibly thinking of going as tweedle dee and tweedle dum, but DH is not convinced.

We are not dressing up but I bought a bobble head band with bats on it that lights up to wear. My husband refuses to dress up so I wasn't going to be the only one to dress up.
Does anyone know if it is ok to wear jeans or dress shorts in any of the dining rooms on the ship for dinner?

We will be on this cruise too!!! We are DH(36) Me (36) DS (11 turning 12 on cruise) and DD (8). Our neighbors are going with us they have 3 kids all about the same age as our kids.

I can't wait!!!! We will be at disney from Oct 29th then cruise Nov 1 then back to disney through Nov 9th.

Jeans are allowed in the dining rooms now. I am not sure about shorts. I am in the camp of " just about anything works" as I really don't notice anyone else's attire. I usually do capris and the girls love dresses.

Welcome to the cruise board! Our vacation is very similar to yours - except we are Oct 30th to Nov 10th - also doing 10/31 MNSSHP - but the kids (DS - 10, DS - 7, DD -5) don't know it yet.

(thought that would cover us for both Halloween and Pirate night once on board!) I haven't dressed up for Halloween since I was a young teen, so really looking forward to this!

On another note to all, DD is doing MUCH better today, so looks like Tamiflu is doing it's job! I would say all symptoms have gone from Moderate to very Mild as of this afternoon. No more Nausea (she's asking for a SUBWAY Sub!, though I'm not ready to put something that heavy onto her stomach just yet), no more fever, no more headache. Still feeling the bruisy achey a bit but nowhere near as bad as it was for the past two days!
Now we just have to keep the rest of us Healthy!
Thanks to Tamiflu and Pixie Dust, I can shed worries and concerns about "would we have to cancel our vacation" or other options.

I am so happy your DD is doing better. My DD's fever is down from 102.6 yesterday to 101 today. The problem is that I am now sick. I guess Airborn doesn't work after all. I hope your DD continues to get better so that she isn't to uncomfortable on your trip to Disney. Here is some so the rest of your family hopefully stays healthy.

I'm Working on directions and Maps for delivering FE gifts. Anyone interested in this? Of course if there are cabin changes at check in, you'll have to adjust these yourselves, but it would be easy enough to do. I'll make them up, post it here, and also bring copies for all of us to hand out at the meet. The directions will be posted here, so you can see what I mean. What I bring on board will be the directions along with copies of the Deck Plans.

MINNIEMOUSES1969, glad your DD's fever is down, sorry to hear you are also sick. On a happy note though, at least it'll be over with by the time of your trip. I'm running on that note too (as long as the rest of us don't get sick!)

Hi everyone! I haven't been able to be on here much lately. I have so much to get together I don't know how I'll do everything before Saturday. The kids have got me sick I'm taking lots of medicine and praying it works and that no one else gets it. I really don't have time to be sick right now but I guess it's better than at Disney. Well off to get some sewing done while my kids nap then I have to pick my oldest up from school for a doctors appointment and then take her to dance. I just want to crawl into bed and rest so I can get better.

For a moment I thought of sending my teens to do a deck each and I would do the other, but threw that thought out right away, as I too want to stroll the ship and see everyone's doors, those in the FE and those Not. I want a picture of the doors to the Roy and Walt suites! I should let everyone know that I will deliver my FE's on the first night. I wanted to surprise everyone by not letting people know, but my bags are bulky and other gifts won't fit into a pocket once mine is in the pocket, So just don't tell your kids, they can all be the one's surprised when they head to call it a night!

Thanks. I'm trying as best I can to rest, well as much as a person with 4 kids can LOL. My 6yo is supposed to be in a parade this Thurs for cheerleading and I think we are going to go ahead and cancel that. It's soooooo cold here I don't need the kids getting sick. I'm sure she'll be bummed since she's missing her first competition while we are away too but I just don't want to risk it. I just realized that one of the suitcases we bought has a broken handle so returning that will have to go on dh's long honeydo list. Anyway at last my tshirts, pillow cases, and autograph books are done and my FE is all done except the poll so I'm going to go ahead and post some pics now. My camera is taking some crappy pictures and it seems the lighting in my kitchen is crappy too but it will give you an idea and you can see them in person when you visit.

I am sooo excited! Have't been on here in a awhile...at least not posting, just gathering pics for our door signs! We have 4 families...Sisz, Lippincott, Lippincott, and Hartmann...which includes 9 children from 5 to 12. It should be a blast!
