Hiyas!

For you past brides, how many times did you bug the ADR people about making sure to note it was your honeymoon? :rotfl: I made sure to say it when I made the ressies, but I'm wondering if I should call beforehand to "check" them and mention it again...

Also, did they do anything special if it was more than just you and your hubby? Since our wedding is 11/24/08, we have people staying the week and going to dinner with us a couple of times (not to mention on Turkey Day). I didn't know if we should bother mentioning it, or if they just skipped it for large parties.

TIA!

:bride:

If you mentioned it when making the ADR, then I would say the only other thing you need to do is mention it again when you check in at the restaurant.

I don't know if they'll still do something if its more than just the two of you, but I don't see why that would stop them. Usually it's a free dessert or something like that and that's easy enough to do for just two in the party.

Congratulations and have fun!

We made sure to wear our bride and groom ear hats in the restaurants too, just for good measure. And when they made us take them off cuz of the dress code at Citricos, we displayed them prominently on the table :rotfl:

I made three reservations for our honeymoon. The Second time I called the lady was glad to add "honeymoon" to our breakfast at Norway. Then I realized I hadn't mentioned it was our honeymoon for our ressies I had alreayd made at California Grill and Coral Reef so I called back. The lady who I spoke to told me there was no reason to add this, because Disney only does special things for Birthdays. I was told they do nothing special for honeymoons..which is hooey!!! I know lots of people who got free stuff on their honeymoon. So, I hung up, and called right back.. Got a nice who added the info!

Yeah, we just mentioned it when making the ressies and when we checked in... We didn't bother doing it when we were out with a big group of people though (our family).... that was just us though, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if you wanted to!!:)

we had it on our ressies and had our ears and just married pins on, but we only got 2 special things all week - "it's my special day" placemats at Chef Mickeys :rotfl: and free champagne at LeCellier. Both times we were with very large groups (10 at CM and 18 at LeCellier). I will say there were other days where we were eating with small grouns - 5 or 6 - in restaurants that others got great attention in where we got no recongnition. It's hit or miss so you might as well mention it and see what happens.

I do have to say too, we originally planned our wedding for 2007. We postponed the wedding, but still took the trip and kept a couple ADR's. The last night when we checked in for dinner they asked which of us were the honeymoon couple (we were there with friends). That was awkward, but it shows those notes sometimes make a difference since we definitely werent' wearing any wedding garb that day!

 I love it!!

I'm thinking of calling back and getting them to add a note to all our ADR's, I totally didnt think of it at the time :upsidedow I'm such a muppet! We've also got some hats to wear and also some 'bride to be' and 'groom to be' sashes to wear at the Magic Kingdom the day before the wedding
