I didn't know about the Full House episode and the Grand Floridian. Does that episode have scenes from any of the parks too?

oh, it's one of the best episodes! yeah, they show them at all the parks except AK, because I don't think it was open yet.

Day 5: Magic Kingdom!

So I left off with us going to sleep after an evening of resort hopping. This morning was our second day at MK!
We went down to Old Port Royale for breakfast & according to my pictures I had a Mickey Waffle!

I love Mickey Waffles, they are so great!
After breakfast we caught a bus to MK.
DMom & DSis on the bus. Sorry for the blurry picture.

Soon we were at Magic Kingdom. It hadn't opened yet so we got a spot near the front of the herd.

Pretty soon they were singing their little song & throwing pixie dust and the park was open! We were going to go straight to Frontierland so we could ride Big Thunder Mountain!
What was really cool this morning, that I had never seen before, was that there were characters walking amongst the rope drop crowd down Main Street. It was almost like the commercials for WDW. Tiana & Naveen were there as well as Mary Poppins & Bert and Aladdin & Jasmine! It was pretty cool.

There was next to nobody there. On our train we had us and maybe three other families. We rode once & it was great, then when we pulled into the disembarking area they asked if we wanted to ride again, so we stayed on and rode another time and then another time after that. But three times was enough for us, so we figured we should maybe check out a different attraction.
So we headed over to Fantasyland, but not without taking a few photos first!

Then we were back on track to Fantasyland.

MK was rather empty this morning:

Then we approached a closed for refurbishment It's A Small World. I was a little disappointed, but I knew it would be closed so we rode last time.

Then DSis & I decided to do something we hadn't done in awhile, ride the carousel!
My horse was so pretty, although it is hard to see in the pictures, it had flowers all over it:

Then we went over to Snow White's Scary Adventures. I though it was funny how there was a bird on this sign. It looked like it belonged there, but it flew away right after I took the picture.

Then DMom & I went over to Frontierland to meet Jessie (after all I was wearing my Jessie & Bullseye shirt that I designed at DTD).
She was going to come out in around five minutes.
We waited near Splash Mountain:

There was one group ahead of us & pretty soon Jessie arrived!!

My turn to meet Jessie. This is when she saw my shirt, she got very excited that she was on my shirt.

DDad & DSis were around Adventureland, so we met up with them. But before we met up with them, we saw Pirate Goofy in Adventureland with no line!

Then we met up with the other half of out group and decided we would mosey on over to Liberty Square for some lunch at Columbia Harbor House.

As we were walking over we saw the 'Move it Shake it Celebrate it' parade going on.

Then we went into Columbia Harbor House. It was pretty empty. There were some people eating downstairs, but nobody upstairs. So we went upstairs.

I got chicken fingers with apple cobbler for dessert, but I wound up eating the chocolate cake they gave us for free because we had to wait a little while for our food, instead of the apple thing.

Lunch was great. Columbia Harbor House is my favorite Counter Service at MK!\After lunch we headed over to Tomorrowland.

Columbia Harbour House is a great CS choice. Your food looks good. We didn't eat there this summer. We'll only be in Magic Kingdom one day on the October trip, so we'll see if we make it there this time. The portions are huge!

Sorry I haven't updated in a week, this week is my first full week of school, but I'll try to get an update in tomorrow or Friday, but most likely Friday because I'll have a test to study for tomorrow.

Day 5: Afternoon at MK/Night at DHS

Hey, I'm finally going to write an update, I'll make it a long one, too.
So I left off with us finishing our lunch at Columbia Harbor House & going over to Tomorrowland!
DSis & I were going to use our 4 Space Mountain fastpasses while DParents rode the Transit Authority.
On our first ride, I wasn't aware that DSis was going to pose for the camera, so I didn't. Then when we saw our first picture, she made pose the second time around.
Here's our first photo:

The second time, DSis made me do a thumbs-up sign. idk why we had to do this, haha.

After we rode twice and used all of our fastpasses, we met up with DParents and got some smoothies from Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies! I got Tropical fruit flavored.
Then we headed over towards Main Street to look in the shops a little bit. We found an area that we had never been to before. It was a little tucked away area, by a 'dance studio' & you could hear 'dance lessons' going on. very cool. we took some pictures there:

Then we saw some street performers on Main Street, they were pretty good!

We looked in the shops, I bought a ring in one of them. It's really pretty, but I don't think i have a picture of it.
After looking around and doing some shopping, we decided to board the train and take it all around MK.
I love the view from the top of the train station!

I don't know why DSis always has to look like this, every time somebody takes a picture of her?

Then the train came & we got a seat. We were starting the 'grand circle tour' of the Magic Kingdom!
Of course I had to take some pictures on the train:

When we passed Big Thunder Mountain, we didn't see any trains running. Them we got a closer look & a train was stopped. I guess the ride broke down.

Then we arrived at Toontown!

Then we were back at Main Street & we exited MK & went back to CBR for a little while.

DSis & I knew that we wanted to go the the American Idol Experience finale tonight, so me & DSis decided to head over and do some things and eat at Hollywood Studios!
We headed over at around 3:15-ish.
When we arrived, the parade was still going on:

We went into a shop to get away from the crowd.

We went back out & watched the parade for a bit from afar.

Then we went to look in the Animation Studio to see when the next drawing class was.
It was in a few minutes, but it was all filled up. We decided to come back a little later.
We looked around & DSis decided that she wanted to take the quiz to see what character she was.
She was Lady:

On our way out I saw a Toy Story 3 poster! Of course I had to take my picture with it!!

We then decided that we wanted to meet Buzz & Woody in Pixar Place, but they weren't coming out until 4:00, so we looked in One Man's Dream for a little while.

Next, we went over to Pixar Place to wait on line to see Woody! It was around quarter to four now & there was already a line formed. About four families in front of us.
We waited across from TSM which had a 120 minute wait!

They made us wait outside until four o'clock. But pretty soon they let us inside.

After a little bit of waiting, it was my turn to meet Buzz & Woody!

When we got out it looked like it was going to start raining any minute, so we quickly walked over to the Animation Studio to go to a drawing class.
There were two spots left in the one that was going to start right away, cool!
It was decided that we were going to draw Minnie!
It is a lot harder than it looks!
My Minnie, don't make fun!

& DSis' Minnie, of course hers has to look perfect, the woman next to me complimented DSis' Minnie. But not mine, I can't imagine why, mine clearly looks more like Minnie. haha

When we got out it was pouring rain! So we looked around the Animation Studio shop while it let up.
A guy was drawing Belle in the shop!

Then after a while of looking around, we decided to put on our ponchos and run over to ABC Commissary for some dinner.
It was filled with little campers. There must have been over a hundred of them! We found a table, though.

I got a hamburger with chocolate mousee & DSis got the Asian Salad with chocolate mousse. Sorry I didn't take pictures of the food, It was delicious though!
At the next table over from us there was a girl with an American Idol Experience shirt on, we figured she was going to the finale, too.
Then we headed over to wait for the American Idol finale. We saw the lttle videos they play beforehand a couple of times.

Carrie Underwood:

Then we were let in. We were sitting right in front of the friends and family section. I wanted to turn around and discretely take a picture, you know just in case the next Carrie Underwood's parents are sitting behind us, but DSis wouldn't let me. IDk why, lol.

I turned out that the girl we were next to in ABC Commissary, was a contestant in the finale! how cool!
She didn't win though. A really good girl won she sang 'Natural Woman' & got a standing ovation! She was really, really good!

After the show, we went to do some shopping on the 'main street' of DHS.
DSis wanted some antenna toppers for her car.
Then we tried on some hats:

Then we were done looking in this shop & looked around outside.

We then looked in the shop next door.

After that, we just wandered around DHS for awhile. It wasn't very crowded, I think most people went home when it started to rain.
We looked in the shop outside of the American Idol Experience & I saw the coolest Mickey EVER!

Isn't he just the cutest thing? Of course I didn't buy him tonight, but I loved him! Don't think he so funny?
There was this cool jewelery stand across the the AIE shop.
They had some really pretty things there:

Then we found ourselves in New York City:

& then in San Fransisco, maybe we'll see the Tanner family!

We walked past Pixar Place:

Then we decided to head out and go back to CBR. The bus came quickly and was empty.
DSis on the bus. I think she looks like this because it was really dark on the bus & I used my bright flash to take a picture, haha:

I had to laugh on your comments about the Tanner family at the Grand Floridian because I made my Bf take a pic of me on the stairs there on our recent trip because that's the staircase DJ had been on...too funny.
