Nothing like a 2 1/2 commute on a Monday!

No, I live in Bergen County and travled to Essex County to work. The Parkway and Rt. 3 was pretty good.

I had a 3 hour commute. The train was only going haff way to Penn Station. then annouced it would go all the way. It went EXTREMELY slow.
Had I not taken off almost 2 weeks late January , I propably would have stayed home today.

Nope, my commute was fine.

Granted, I live in Ohio, so that might have something to do with it.

My poor DH had a horrible commute - he takes the first train of the day into Penn station, I think it's 5:32, and he got to Penn station at 8:30 - THEN has to get to his office, I felt really bad for him, but if he drove it would have been bad also!!

WALKING was so tough. Not everyone knows how to shovel!

Took DH 3hrs. to go 17 miles. He's not a happy camper right now. I'm glad I had a snow day.

DH had a little hassle getting to work-he takes teh bus to the city, and tehy were stuck in the Lincoln Tunnel for a while, but not sure if that had to do with the snow, last week they were stuck for so long(40 minutes)that he got out and walked out of the tunnel and to work.

I have yet to go out since school was canceled today.

When I heard that the LIRR was warning everyone about delays this morning, I decided to stay home. I bet it was terrible going in today. I hope it'll be better tomorrow.

The driver let him out IN THE TUNNEL? That is a huge NO NO!

At first when people(not him..he is a newbie to commuting and doesn't make waves LOL) were insisting on being let off the bus driver said absolutely not..and people kept inisisting and he said she was just like Okay fine!
They were almost at the end of the tunnel so he was just like well if evertone else is going I will too, and he got off and walked to work.
