Hi. Our family is having a reunion at the Fort Jan 26-Feb 9. Another family wishes to join us, but when calling reservations and looking online, there are only tent site available. Do agents have blocks of sites set aside, and who would we call about it? Or do we just need to keep checking every day? Thanks for any insight.

Try adding a week on either end of those dates and see if they come up. If that works, make the reservation and then call and cancel the dates you don't need. Keep trying everyday. Yes, agents can get those dates. And yes, some agencies do block sites. But, this far out, keep trying.

It is a busy time at the Fort.....

I've been trying to get a premium site for my in laws for Thanksgiving. I got Thanksgiving night so far. If I can add a day on either side, I think I'll be lucky!

It's been awhile for me, but I found that if you put your full time in and one day is not available it will reject the whole resie. As said by a PP, try each day seperatley.
Also if you call, most CM are very helpfull in getting your days. They will piece it together for you. The only bad thing about this, each day may be a different site. Although they may be able to change this upon arrivel.
Another thing I learned is some people will cancel closer to their dates. You may have more luck as your dates get closer.
Don't give up.
