Quick update on day 2.
Slept in and got moving around 9am - the weather was stunning! Sunny and breezy with a few puffy clouds scattered above. We ate at Fresh in the Dplphin for breakfast. Omelet station, assorted pastries, eggs, bacon, OJ, cereal, Starbucks coffee: Outstanding. Service was excellent. After that we took the boat to Epcot and hit the WS. The kids got passports and had fun getting stamps from everywhere. In another thread I read about how to say hello in all the languages in the countries in the WS. I can attest that the CM's that work there sincerely appreciate it - their demeanor picked up after hearing it and they all smiled.
Went on the River thing in Mexico - pretty lame. Just not up to Disney standards. The American presentation was quite well done and worth checking out. Of course they glossed over a lot of the history but hey, just pick up a copy of "A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn if you want a different perspective. Honey I shrunk the Audience was fun, Spaceship Earth is the same old same old and really needs updating. If you've been on it before you've pretty much seen it all.
Ice station cool is a nice break and unlike most folks, I like Beverly.
Test track and M:S had long lines and we didn't fastpass at all. We were having a mellow day and just kept it light. We'll be heading back for the fireworks in a 1/2 hour or so.
Report back tomorrow!
