Many folks worry about Magical Express taking a long time, and worry that there resort will be the last stop. Well looking at a post I made in December, the multiple stops inside WDW property are the shortest amount of time of the whole thing. I was staying at Ft. Wilderness, and was the third stop. My Magical Express bus had about 15 passengers.
11:55 pm depart MCO
12:27 am, arrived OKW
12:29 am, departed OKW
12:31 am, arrived Port Orleans Riverside
12:33 am, departed Port Orleans Riverside
12:37 am, arrived Ft. Wilderness Campground
So even if Ft. Wilderness had been the first stop, I would have only arrived at Ft. Wilderness say 8-10 minutes earlier.
The key to making Magical Express as quick as possible is to:
1) Use those yellow tags!!!
2) Divide and conquer at the airport. Once you arrive, if stops inside the airport are necessary (such as restroom, waiting on gate-checked items, diaper change, etc, or if one member of your party needs wheelchair assistance), send one person ahead with the transportation vouchers of the whole group and that one person waits in the first line. By the time the rest of you arrive, that is one line out of the way. Then you all get into the bus line and off you go.
