Note from Santa - need help

Trying to type out a note from Santa that the kids/we can read on Christmas morning.
Our plan thus far is using a giant gift bag (bike size). One bag per child. Inside each bag will be Disneyworld brochures, a bucket of different kinds of candy, a sticker countdown chain (remove a sticker and get a piece of candy from the bucket) and a bunch of balloons. They read the note, open the bags, and out pop the balloons

So far we have only come up with

The elves and I were unable to fit your present into the sleigh this year. So inside this bag is a little something to celebrate today and to help you countdown the days until you receive your extra special present from me.

What kind of information are you hoping to relay? Do they know about the trip already? When are you going on the trip?

You could write the number of days from Christmas to the trip on the balloons. If it is going to be in a while, give them a countdown calendar, chain, or something that is interactive. You could also print out a few pictures taken by other vacationers at WDW.

Your idea is awesome! My daughter keeps seeing the commercials on tv, and comments that we should get a card like that for her brother for his birthday...the one with the balloons coming out! I think the note you wrote is perfect!!
