Okay, so I've been crazy at work lately, plus I've been sick, so I haven't been around much.
We leave for our planning session in about a month, and then off to my grandma's birthday/family reunion cruise - on which my aunt is throwing me my first shower.
Does anyone else have this *problem* where everyone wants to throw you a shower. I seriously have 4 planned as of now, and have said "no" to 2 people. It's getting out of hand! (I know... that's a stupid problem to have... but it's just weird)
So here's the plan for the P.S.
Wednesday - Arrival - Check in at SSR and 8:30 dinner reservations at Turf Club with my parents. DSis and her BF arrive later.
Thursday - Breakfast 7:10 at GF Cafe, and PS at 9am; (We don't get a menu tasting - BOO) 2:00 Hair/Makeup trial; 8:00 Dinner Raglan Road
Friday - Check-out and go to Port Canaveral. Board ship.
Saturday - Grandma's Birthday Celebration & Nassau
Sunday - CocoCay & Shower
Monday - Home
I'm bummed that we don't get any time in the parks, but oh well. Whatcha going to do?
I think I'm pretty well set for the P.S. I have my binder, and pictures and paint chips, and stuff. But I still have NO idea what to do with my hair.
I have shoulder length, thin, scraggly, hair. I look best with it down, but when it's down, it tends to separate dramatically into clumps:
Which is not attractive as you can see.
But my face is so pudgy, that I look bad with it all up.
I'm so undecided. I think I'd be okay with an updo if I had full hair, but it's so limp and thin, that it just looks pathetic. I didn't want to wear a veil... but we bought one anyway, because I was bamboozled in my sticker-shock daze. And. it was more expensive than my dress, so I feel like I should wear it.
I bought this clip at TJ MAXX, and I think I might use it...
I wish I had normal hair!
In other sort-of-not-really-wedding-related news... I'm going out to PA to visit my sister next weekend.

I'm excited, I haven't seen her since December! We're hoping to work on the invitation debacle and come up with a workable solution for everyone.
