Hey! pulled up the deed website to check on our add on and it is on there, but it says it is not verified. Also, with our other original contract there were two entries, one for the purchace the other for our loan amount. Our add on only has one entry for the purchase, not one for the laon. Does this seem odd? Are we closed or not? Anyone?

what is the deed website..??? could you provide a link

Shan, I am far from an expert on this. Did you get a copy of the recorded deed?
If it were me, I would call my guide or quality assurance Monday morning.

Good luck...

Can't find our listing what might I be doing wrong?

zurgswife, type in your last name and then first name just like this -
Example : Brown Joe
Notice no comma
I did this worng first time.
Hope that works.

Shan, just give it a few days.
all Deeds are "unverified" on the website for a week or so right after they are first entered into the Comptroller's system. and then they show up as verified later.

also, the $ amount they record seems kind of arbitrary. i think it depends on the employee who entered the info into the computer. so don't worry about that.
the 2 records you see may even be one Deed and one Mortgage record.

did you Mortgage your add-on? maybe the Deed was just entered yesterday, and your Mortgage record will be entered next Monday.

anyway, the point is, don't worry! ;)
HTH.

I did notice that several of my purchases were FREE! (Too bad I did not know this at the time LOL!)

We just viewed our recorded deed! Thanks for posting the site, lenshanem.

How long from your purchase date til the deed gets recorded? We purchased SSR in Aug. 2003.Or will SSR deeds not be recorded until things are official?
Thanks,
Trish

wdwaholic--
If I remember correctly, you'll be able to see your recorded deed a couple of weeks after your closing.

wdwaholic,
I woudl think by now it shoudl be recorded. For our add on we were approved on 9/10 and closed on 10/1. If you did yours in August surely it is done EXCEPT for the fact it is SSR. This might be the reason it is not showing up on the deed website. Anyoen know for sure? Have you received a closing letter? Or are they waiting to close the SSR contracts?

UPDATE from yesterday-
Looks like our deed is now fixed and also verified from a few days ago when I looked at it on the deed website. Nothing to worry about now! Even got closing letter today, along with a Vacation Magic. (This took away the tinge from looking at the date of my final payment on the closing letter.) Add on is now completely finished.

I work for the Clerk of the Court for our county. When we record a deed it is imaged. At that time is is unverified. When the image is viewed for quality control, it is then verified. I suspect they have a similar process in Orlando. This tells a title searcher that it may not be totaly accurate. Also, remember that deeds and mortgages are beeing recorded in record numbers due to the low interest rates. This does have a time impact on the length of time necessary to complete the process.
