I know the great debate between selling points and using them for the more "expensive" trades... this question is not intended to rehash that arguement ;)

Has anyone ever experienced any of the Adventure Collection vacations? They sound cool, but I agree they are very expensive in terms of points. Just wondering how often they get booked.

My wife really wants to go to Tanquverde Ranch or however you spell it but the kids and I have quashed that plan as non of us care to go there.

I have not been there, but I've heard nothing but rave reviews. It's expensive in terms of points, but is apparently a very nice all-inclusive dude ranch. The point cost includes dining, horseback riding, etc.

Thanks Jim I will be sure NOT to tell my wife that or she will drag us all there wether we want to or not LOL. I had relatives that owned a farm and horses etc when I was younger and I have no desire to go to a place and ride horses and be outdoors in the nature other than going to my cottage. Heck I am even staying home this week while my wife goes camping in Algonquin park with the kids.

CharlesTD,
You sound like my DH, whose idea of roughing it is a Holiday Inn, not Embassy Suites! :rotfl2:

Sounds like fun to me. Where is it located? I suppose I could google and find out.

I believe it is in Arizona, Tuscon area, I think.

AJKMOM my idea of camping etc is room service and a double bed with air conditioning LOL. My parents took my sister and I camping all teh time when we were younger until they bought the cottage up north so my camping days are over that is why my wife is taking our 3 kids to Algonquin park this week without me. Mind you I have conceded to go and stay in the cabins at Ft Wilderness for our Dec 07 trip so we have a week there and then a week in a 2bdrm at SSR.

There's no doubt many of the trade options are very appealing, too bad they are so expensive. While I wouldn't want to do all the adventure options, I think they would all appeal to many people. I can't think of a single one that I'd consider a dud from what I know at present.
