It's a video game. Much like Guitar Hero, but you get all the band instruments, not just guitar...

Indeedy, although, if I hadn't have got it free, I would have just bought the game without the instruments and play it like Guitar Hero with the guitar I already had.

I've just spent 7 hours straight playing it, and have alas not finished it... ...yet.
