Not thrilled with my ADRs

I don't know why but I am not thrilled with the ADR's I have for this trip. I know I shouldn't worry but I'm just not really looking forward to them for some reason.

I have Tony's for lunch (the only place my son requested, HDDR, Ohana's for dinner, Donald's Safari Breakfast, Crystal Palace Breakfast, Trex and Teppan Edo.

I am really looking forward to Teppan Edo but I'm kinda "meh" about the rest for some reason. I have eaten at every restaurant we have reservations for except HDDR and TRex and I'm kinda looking forward to those. I'm really looking forward to eating at Wolfgang Puck Express and I'm trying to figure out how we can eat there more than once since the food there is fantastic for a CS.

I guess I just want really good food and I'm trying to please my son as this trip is all about him since I took my last two trips without him. Oh the sacrifices we moms make to keep our kids happy!!!

I've always used Counter Service meals for it. I think its one of the best values for a CS around!

I can understand how you're feeling. This time I was kinda "meh" about most of the restaurants- the ones we want to eat at we've eaten at before. I think for me though mostly it's because our kids are older and it won't be quite the same with the characters (atleast I mean our youngest won't be clamoring for them and as excited to see them as before- and we primarily did those meals for her... the older two just tolerating it fine but not really like EXCITED to see characters yanno?) and because of the cost. It's just so expensive for a family of 5 to eat at those expensive buffets and we really don't eat that much at a sitting (except DH ofcourse LOL). But also this time we're staying at FW and we can cook any meals we want to in our TT. If we weren't staying in the TT and able to cook- I'd probably have booked a lot of ADR's, sucked it up on the cost, and be feeling "meh" about them same as you. LOL

This time we booked HDDR and Trex- and that's it. We haven't done those and we're excited about them! Excited about HDDR for obvious reasons and we love rainforest so I'm pretty sure we're going to love TRex- especially our dino lovin' son. LOL

I bet you'll have a blast and be feeling less "meh" about them once you're there!

We would love your Ohana reservation if it is for 4/5 or 4/7-9 and you decide you are going to give it up. We have a Hoop De Doo reservation on 4/7 at 5pm or a Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package on 4/9 at 4:15pm we could trade you.

Sorry you're not thrilled w/ your adrs but i know whatcha mean.
I think all of your selections sound GREAt though.
If you're not in love w/ a place just think "i could be at home right now-but instead i'm in disney!" and that makes everyhting better

Fishcall, I'm sorry I can't help you out - we are going to be there in March. Keep checking with dining - something may open up. Also, don't rule out walk ups - go early and see if they have something available - you might have to wait a little while but at least Ohana has the entertainer in the waiting area!
