We recently got an Aldi's around here and the other day I decided to pop in there to see what it's all about. I did find a few things that I thought were a good price.

Normally I buy the Kraft Mac & Cheese in the box (it has the cheese sauce instead of the powder) it normally runs about $2.08 at our Walmart. My kids will eat this for lunch sometimes during summer vacation. Well I decided to try the Aldi's brand, but this is the kind that is made with the powder. It was only 34 cents (or something like that). So I picked up 2 boxes to try it out. Well, my picky mac & cheese boy (13) just made a box and said it was really good. So I tried some and I have to agree. Not too bad for 34 cents, I can tell ya that much. Might have to pick up a few more boxes for the summer.

My kids would only eat the Velveeta Shells kind (even the store brand ofit) but now they prefer the powder kind. Can't beat it, even if my DS will eat a whole box himself!
