Not Sure Where to Post This....PUBLIX???

Where is the nearest Publix to WDW from the Orlando Int'l. airport? We will probably check in, go to MK then come back to the resort then I will run over to Publix. Except, I don't know where it is.......I will be buying diapers and other baby items. Thank you.

If you take route 417 South from airport to Celebration and Rte 192, there is a Publix across the street from Celebration. (2nd left from Celebration on 192.) There is also a Walgreen's drugstore. Logan's restaurant is in front of the Publix store.

On our last 3 trips, I have found the new Winn-Dixie(about 3 blocks from Crossroads) to be cheaper than Publix, although I wasn't purchasing baby items. And the real advantage...I could get there by myself without DH having to take me!

There's a recently-built Publix right behind the designer outlet shops across from Disney. To get there, you need to get to 535 & Hotel Plaza, right across from the Crossroads shopping center. Turn right (south) onto 535, and drive about a half mile. Right after you go under the I-4 overpass, you'll need to be in the left lane to turn left onto Vineland Road. Once on Vineland Road, go past Mary Queen of the Universe shrine and the Premium Designer outlets. Publix will be on your left just before the intersection of Vineland & International Drive.

You'rea ctually very close to the Publix in Kissimmee. From the exit of Caribbean Beach, make a left onto Buena Vista Drive. Make your first left, onto Victory Way. At the next light, make a left onto Osceola Parkway. Continue on Osceola off WDW property. YOu'll make a right at the Gaylord Palms Hotel, onto International Drive South, the PUblix will be up ahead on the left. This is about a 5 minute drive from CBR. The Winn Dixie is located on 535. If you want to go there, make a right onto Buena Vista Drive and conttinue to Hotel Plaza Blvd. The road now bears right there, no more right turn. Take this road until Crossroads Shopping Center and make a left. The Winn Dixie us up the road a little bit, on the right. Ths is approx 10 minutes away. I feel the Publix is closer to CBR.

I found the Winn-Dixie that's just a few blocks away!

You have a couple choices. The easiest IMHO would be to stop at Kash-N-Karry, get on teh Greenway (417) and get off Landstar Blvd, at the bottom of the ramp make a left, it's right there.

The next would be to go to the next exit and there's a Publix there.

If you want to get to the resort first, there's a Publix on 192 West, go down World Drive to 192 and make a right, it's a couple miles on the right.
