Not sure if this has been taked about yet... Is eBay VMK stuff a way to track ppl?

I was thinking this ebay/vmk thing might be a way for vmk to track who has an ebay account, so they can see if that account is selling vmk stuff (isn't that against the rules).

The codes don't really tell you who is selling it because they could easily sell their codes or give them to other people.

or you could enter the codes with one title and sell with another, which I would do if I did that sort of thing.

ebay sales and transactions are supposively protected, but who knows what agreements VMK and ebay got going on right now.

I've never used ebay before, all I know is, I now have an ebay account because of VMK.

I doubt it.. i'm sure many of the people who played the eBay sweepstakes made an account just to get the codes.. this wouldn't really be an efficient way to track those who use eBay for VMK..

They could but it wouldn't be very efficient. If they really wanted to go after the sellers they could just have a staff member create an ebay account and buy stuff. That would be much more efficient because they would know for certain who was selling the stuff.
