I didn't realize this until after I had reserved my carriage ride.

Dec 3 will be our Epcot day and was wondering I had made ressies for a carriage ride at FW @ 7 pm, would we be able to go back to Epcot for Illuminations? This would be our honeymoon and our first time to WDW, please advise, TIA!!! :earsboy:

It might be a tight squeeze trying to make it back.

Keep in mind though, Epcot is open much later than the other parks. Till 9 I think and I think Illuminations starts slightly before the park closes.

You may be able to go over there after say, Animal Kingdom.

If you have your own car park and the BW and go in through IG. I know most people will tell you this is a "no-no" but it will save you time and who knows you may just be going to the BW.

I've never done the carriage ride, do you know how long it lasts? That will be the deciding factor. Also, I am not familiar with where the carriage ride will drop you off at. If you're near Pioneer hall then you will either need to take the internal busses to get to the bus depot where you'll take a bus to Epcot or take the boat to the Contemporary and catch the monorial to the TTC and then connect to Epcot. Either way you're probably looking at an hour transit time easy. So you could conceivably make it there in time (again depending on the length of the carriage ride) but it would be tight.

The carriage ride lasts 30 minutes, so you would have 1 1/2 hours to get to Epcot. I think you'd be fine!! Also, during the holiday season, when they're doing Candlelight Processional, Illuminations is at 9:30. So, you'll really be OK.

Have a great trip!!!

Thanks so much for the replies!!!

Magic2000 thanks I wasn't even sure what time Illuminations would start.

I love this board :earsboy:
