Not sure if I should ask....non Disney tours of LA/Hollywood

Planning a trip for July. We will be spending a few day at Disneyland (3 full days)
Prior to our "disney portion" of the trip we will do some other things in the LA area...beach...

BUT, I would like to spend 1 day doing all of the "touristy" stuff like Hollywood, tour of the stars homes (?) walk of stars, Rodeo Drive, etc....
It seems like it might just be easiest to find a tour and do that for the day. Any suggestions/input?

Gray Line has a number of tours that would fill the bill:

My friend & I went to Hollywood a couple of years ago (we are locals), and at the Graumann's Chinese Theater courtyard there is a kiosk for Starline tours that will take you around Hollywood, to the stars' homes, etc. We took both the Hollywood tour, which was in an open tram, and a shuttle to the stars' homes. We enjoyed both of them.
