Not so scary Halloween dates

Hey! My family just booked our trip for next summer August 16-23 My question is, does the party start that early? Also,
is the party every night or just during the weekend?
Not sure yet if we want to pay for our whole family to go, but at the same time I do not want to have to leave the MK at 4 pm. Just wondering so i can plan our night there when the party isn't happening.
I love the party, and have been before, but it was much cheaper when I went and we were 2 less kids Lolollll

Obviously next years dates have not been released, so no definite information out yet. Based on this year, I would expect it would be going already.
Best guess would be to go off of this years dates : August 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30 .
The Friday and Tuesday of each week.

Okay nice, so the parties aren't every single night. Obviously things could be different next year.

On party nights, this year, MK closes at 6 pm and the party begins at 7 pm. So, even if you don't buy a ticket, you can stay until 6 pm - you may not see fireworks on those evenings, though, without a ticket as they haven't been running the regular fireworks and party fireworks on party evenings.

Once again this year, we are doing MK on a party day. while we have to leave by about 6, we have found the park is less crowded on party days.
