Not-so-obvious choice for dinner anywhere on property?

Heading to the World at the end of July-early August with another couple and my husband and I have a "free" night where our friends are going to the 8pm Hoop-de-Doo and we're sitting it out because we've done it a few times during recent trips. Are there any fun / delicious restaurants that I'm overlooking for a table service meal?

We've been on a few trips over the past two years so I'd like to try something different than the following places where we have ADRs booked for this trip or have recently had ADRs:
--La Hacienda de San Angel
--San Angel Inn
--Le Cellier
--Biergarten
--Coral Reef
--Tusker House
--Sanaa
--California Grill
--1900 Park Fare
--Whistling Canyon
--BOG

Staying at YC but willing to travel anywhere on property!

You may enjoy Boma, Via Napoli, or Yak & Yeti...although none are "not-so-obvious" choices. Disney Springs also has many delicious options. I, personally, love Bongos Cuban Cafe (and that one doesn't get as much hype).

If you aren't on the dining plan, head over to Swan/Dolphin. bluezoo, Kimono's and Il Mulino are all very good. Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk is good (have dessert at Ample Hills ice cream parlor!) or, if it's open, try Flying Fish.

Would you consider a signature? We really like Artist Point at WL, Monsieur Paul and just tried Tiffin's on Saturday and it was very good.

We also really like Spice Road Table in EP.

I enjoyed Boatwrights at POR. Raglan Road at Downtown Disney err Disney Springs.
Boma at AKL is good, as is Citricos at the Grand Floridian.
Flying Fish has always been favorite. It's being refurbed now and getting a new menu.
Looking forward to trying it when it re-opens in late summer

Flying Fish, if it is open when you are there.
Yachtsman Steakhouse at teh YC never lets us down.
Raglan Road in DS is a favorite of my family.
Il Mulino at the Swolphin is always a good meal.
Narcoossee at the Grand is always wonderful.

This sounds cliche but we loved the Plaza... It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, and therefore seemed peaceful...

I love Artist Point & just getting to wander around the Wilderness lodge lobby. It's so pretty & the food there is great.
We tried Jiko on our last trip & loved it. Just going to AKL & seeing the animals is a big plus in its favor.
Also, Ohana, remains a repeat for us every trip. Totally love eating here.

Any of the AKL restaurants are a great choice IMO. The facility itself is terrific fun to visit and Boma, Sanaa and Jiko are all great dinner options. I'm particularly partial to Boma. It's a lovely dining room with terrific staff, an interesting menu and an outstanding wine selection. Boma either preceded or followed by a bit of a stroll in the animal viewing plaza at Jambo House is a great out of the way dinner.

Another vote for Raglan Road! It's one of my favorite places to relax & hang out with great entertainment & food whether you sit inside or on the patio (later in the evening when the bands play out there). I've always had very good service there as well. I haven't been since it's changed to Disney Springs but I'm excited to go check it out now! :)

Another favorite is Kimonos at the Swan. They don't take reservations & are only open for dinner. I went just after they opened & before karaoke began for the night & had a very nice, relaxing meal.

Maya Grill at Coronado is a great spot to have a meal, great romantic atmosphere, great food, wonderful guitar player!
